  1. I did read them. Hence my response.
  2. Which just goes to show that it’s not all bad news. Morphine is widely used as a pain killer, of course.
  3. And carbon dioxide is the best natural fertiliser that there is.
  4. Drums at football matches. Or any musical instrument.
  5. Phew. For a moment there I was worried.
  6. So in summary our goalkeeper is shaky, our back line is suspect and our midfield is sluggish?
  7. Yes, I've not been that impressed by Bednarek lately. From what I saw of Harry Kane's goal for Tottenham Benarek glanced across at him and then left him unmarked.
  8. Does the owner pick the team or coach the players and does he decide which players to buy?
  9. True, but PEH made most of his passes back to our centre backs.
  10. Do you really think that going carbon neutral is going to make a significant difference? There's a lot more to it than that.
  11. Do you really thnk tha going carbon neutral is going to make a significant difference?
  12. Whee does democracy come in all this? Or does your view override everybody else in the country?
  13. If he comes out expecting to catch a ball headed back to him and Bednarek just leaves it the who’s at fault? There’s another fundamental rule for a centre back: don’t let the ball bounce.
  14. We were in Washington a couple of weeks ago and wanted to see the White House. You can’t get within nearly half a mile of it because they’ve surrounded it with a perimeter fence. Apparently Trump is afraid of protesters.
  15. “And the winner is...” And they tell you thirty seconds later.
  16. Was responsible for the deflection for Kante’s shot for their third goal. He turned away from it and looked the other way. If he’d kept looking at the ball the deflection wouldn’t have happened.
  17. There’s no movement amongst our players, they all stand there hoping they don’t get given the ball. They need to create their own space, but they don’t even try.
  18. He plays behind a different defence every game. There’s no consistency or defined format. What errors were they? (and I’ve played a lot of Sunday morning football in my time) The calamity against Bournemouth was mainly due to Bednarek letting the ball bounce.
  19. We holiday all over the world and people love the Premier League. When I ask them which team they support or follow it’ Always Liverpool, or Man Utd, or Arsenal... Sky have a lot to answer for. They’ve ruined the competitive structure of our top-flight football.
  20. Too many defensive changes, every game it’s different players in a different formation.
  21. We are still suffering from the bloated squad resulting from the last few managers. Unfortunately we have got rid of the players that were wanted by other clubs and we are left with the ones we couldn’t sell or loan.
  22. We all have our different opinions of course but on the one hand you’re saying that he stays on his line too much yet on the other you are blaming him for the first?
  23. It would probably have made no difference. He came out as far as he could and you might argue that he should have stayed back in goal but then Abrahams could just have slotted it past him. The indecision came because the ball landed on the edge of the penalty area and Abraham’s got lucky with the lob. On balance of probable outcomes he probably made the right decision to come out. All told it was a bit of a fluke. For the second he was horribly exposed and I don’t see what more he could have done. We were comfortably beaten by a team who didn’t have to break into a sweat.
  24. Yep, that’s where we belong. More games and 3 o’clock kickoffs on a Saturday. What’s not to like? Yes, I know there are sometimes odd kickoff times but in general they’re more friendly.
  25. Yep. Starts with the wrong formation. Again. We were never going to beat Chelsea by trying to hold onto the ball and pass it around at the back. No point making substitutions with only ten minutes left.
