  1. what did he say
  2. Pubs for today? Rumours are pubs in Islington and going to be locals only and need to show ticket to get in. Every season this seems to get worse around there. Used to be able to get in Wetherspoons easily as they would allow home and away. But last couple season only managed to sneak in with gooner mates. Probably going to meet at O'Neills on the Euston Road opposite St Pancras.
  3. what was the number available?
  4. Have we offered him a contract extension yet?!?!
  5. Tottenham players must be getting used to bottling things
  6. This. Just another greedy f..ker as the rest.......don't know why I was suckered in to him being an honourable man and who would see his contract out....feels worst than Pochettino

I know I would - you'd have to be more or less mental not to. Koeman's not a Saints fan - he's a professional football manager. Why should he stay? He's given us our best ever Premier League finish and guaranteed 6 games of European football. It's disappointing for us but that's the way football works. Always has been. People need to stop being fannies about this. in that case he shouldn't pretend he is a honourably man and spout on about seeing through his contract blar blar blar....
  8. I for one am getting more than just a little 'f**ked off' with going through this every summer with either manager and/or players. But then I think where were we 6 years ago...... f**k f**k f**k f**k I live n work in London. The first 3 phone calls this morning from work colleagues taking the **** about Koeman going.........and which club do they all support...F**king spuds.
  9. booked my hotel.....already limited availability in Stockholm.
  10. quite happy that we get ignored a bit and underestimated
  11. Not forgetting West Ham will have the advantage of a large shiny new stadium without the debt. So where even the likes of Arsenal suffered from having to pay out millions (Spurs will as well) West ham will start to benefit from extra revenue virtually straight away. All though they have discounted 1000's of tickets to ensure it sells out, and this obviously reduces the additional income. It would be good to hear if there are any development plans afoot. But I'm sure the club has said previously we will need to achieve sell out crowds for a number of seasons. I still think the above images look great.
  12. go back and read previous comments!!!
  13. Quite correct. The thuggery around football at the time was incredible. I remember going away on 'football specials' and thugs walking up and down the train looking blokes that could handle themselves telling them where the after match fight was going to be. And this was Saints who hardly had the reputation for trouble unlike the skates, Chelsea, etc had. Too easy just to blame the authorities for what happened. Deserved blame to the authorities for the following cover up.
  14. It seems a lot of mistakes where made that day but was today's decision made against today's standards or those of the times. The point I make is there was relentless trouble at football matches at the time and I'm sure it clouded the decision making of those in control. Think back to the Heysel disaster, which only took place 4 years earlier, rampaging Liverpool fans ending in 39 deaths and 600 injured. Did this and week after week of trouble at football all contribute to the wrong decision being made. Faced with massing crowds at Hillsborough did the police/authorities panic to get the fans off the streets to try and prevent possible trouble that was rife at the time in English football and resulted in wrong decisions being made?!? The crime that needs prosecution: is the lies and criminal actions of the police and other of authorities that lied and tried to cover up the mistakes by blaming solely the fans. Unfortunately, the pessimist in thinks that all that will happen next is financial claims for compensation being made against the police. The greatest sympathy to the families...but time to let those that died RIP

  21. Try living in London. Spuds have been crawling out the woodwork all season. going on about Saints being their feeder club for manager's, coaching and players.....although they all fail to name 4 players that have gone from Saints to Spuds in the last 20 years, because there isn't. They get very upset when our player's leave for big clubs.....and ermmm that's not spuds, even though they are bigger than saints. What is even worse even Palace fans are getting on the band wagon....out last night with a couple of them and they going on about how Palace are going to be the next big club and they are going to break into the top 4 in coming seasons!!!!! What the **** they are only in their 3rd season in the premier and it's the first time they have lasted more than 1 season and now they are going to win the ****ing thing.
