I would have liked for us to bring in a new wide forward, but overall you have to be happy.
Well done to Les Reed and everyone else involved, and I'm certainly looking forward to seeing more of Lemina and Hoedt in particular.
We signed Jack Rose the other day so that leaves us with Forster, McCarthy, Taylor and him if Gazzaniga goes.
Definitely won't be signing another keeper now.
My prediction is that we will get Hoedt and another forward who can play wide or as a striker when needed.
Then Gazzaniga, Gardos (loan), Clasie and Long will all leave.
Agree we need someone who is strong in the air and while I think I would prefer Hoedt, Wimmer did win 88 aerial duels in 32 Bundesliga appearances for Cologne in the 2014/15 season.
I'm content with Forster, but if McCarthy isn't coming back any time soon and Gazzaniga goes to Spurs then we will likely bring in a keeper, whether it is on loan or otherwise.
One of our former targets Marco Benassi has moved from Torino to Fiorentina for €10m.
Could prove be a bargain considering he was Italy Under-21 captain.
Latest Jeremy Wilson update suggests we're staying strong.
