Never thought I would, but yeah.... Moyes.... oooohhhh eerrrrrr, keep talking, I'm listening. What everybody else said (seems to make sense). Would probably be keen to do better than Everton as well...

Possibly I didn't word this very well - it was the store that I couldn't remember, not the great man himself. Fine Fare, not Co-Op...!!! http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-hampshire-36474829 Great day though.

Well this thread has kept me entertained for the last couple of days, loving the meltdown by some. Can I be the first to say "Thanks very much Ron and good luck in your new job". At the end of the day, the guy came to us and did a bloody great job. Remember the 'Ready for training' tweet, no players it would appear - but he sorted it, and then went on to give us probably the two best seasons we've had in many years. He has no affinity to SFC (nor should he) he is a professional football manager, it's merely a job to him. Absolutely nothing wrong in listening to other job offers, and if one comes up that is too good to turn down - then do what everybody else would do - take it. It's just another chapter in supporting SFC, people come, people go - we go on. Why all the vitriol is beyond me, while he was here, he worked hard and took us to that next level - we should be thanking him. Everton are a decent club, new owner who appears to want to throw some money into it, personally I say good luck to both Ron and Everton. All of that said, come the end of next season, I naturally hope that we sit above them in the table as we have done this year. No point looking back now - look to the future, a new manager and new challenges.

A real sporting legend - talked the talk, but could afford to because he could walk the walk. I seem to remember that he actually visited Hedge End during my school years (early 70's) and opened the new Co-Op store...?? Not sure - perhaps age is getting to me too.

What on earth is that all about? I don't normally take too much notice of the few anymore - but Jesus, that Neil Allen sounds as though he is about to jump off the Itchen bridge....! P.S. I do now understand what people mean when they highlight the word 'paragraphs' for this rag though.

Cheers Jimmy - I feel empowered and enlightened to have learned at least something from the last 12 pages...!

So - could somebody explain to me the 2nd phase offside rule please, so that I can at least understand one post that I read tonight...???

So are we therefore saying that because of the fact that the ethnic makeup of employees in the media doesn't reflect the population as a whole, that this would indicate that the BBC has, in the past, discriminated against the black, Asian and non-white ethnic minority, by giving jobs that should have gone to them, to the majority white ethnicity? I'm not trying to be antagonistic with this issue, but simply trying to see why 'the best person for the job' is not being considered. I fully understand that these are internships, but by definition they are opportunities that could very well lead to full time jobs.
-
And so this is good reasoning (fair and legal) for the agency to apply it's "no whites" policy for all of the positions advertised...???

Highly unlikely, Stoke have been awful for the last couple of months, they have nothing to play for - easy West Ham win. Sent from my Hudl 2 using Tapatalk
