Kenny Dalglish issued a statement apologising for his behaviour, as did Suarez - do you think they did that voluntarily? Or perhaps, somebody in the club (Ian Ayre) realised that the situation was getting out of hand and it was bringing an awful lot of bad press Liverpools way - and as a result they were told to apologise. I know which one I would bet on. People in football know when to humour the fans. So yeah - they'll blow smoke up your ass, but it's not what they are thinking. You are an embarrasment to the FL, but they won't tell you that to your face - they will hope that you get yet another dodgy owner who will continue to put money in their coffers and thus allowing you to play in their league.
