Hate to say it, as I thought I was contributing, but most of that is well over me.

Ken Monkou (pancake man...!), top, top bloke, great player. Honestly idolised, probably Mick Channon and MLT. After that a whole myriad of great, good, mediocre (but still loved, Franny...!), poor and bad players.

If that is so, then perhaps they did ignore it, perhaps, like now they disagreed with it. That is their opinion on it.

On this DPS, I agree. I don't mind admitting that I made my first post on this thread without the benefit of listening to the the interview. Having listened to it, I really do not see what JP said to cause any offence. He is a sportsman trying to do the best that he can to secure a contract somewhere - he was complimentary of Saints. The 'prove somebody wrong' comment was actually started by the interviewer - Jason agreed, but never laboured the point or hinted at anybody in particular. When I watched him against United on Sunday I thought he had an ok game, not great, not bad. Like many others, I was hoping he would have a blinder, which might allow us to 'hike the price' if he does go. Others have suggested that there is an 'attitude' problem, and if that is the case then I would rather cash in now and let him go. However, all of that said - I still cannot see how the OP's (misguided) opinion, or any others here have got you going on about the racism angle. As I said before, if that is your opinion perhaps you should have aired your concerns halfway through the season, so people could guage whether you had a point whilst at subsequent games.

Somebody giving thier opinion / interpretation of Jasons comments on TalkSport. FWIW, I totally disagree with the OP's opinion and interpretation, but I can't say that I find it racist or see any reason to think that it was posted because of a racist attitude.

But to sum up, you believe that much of the stick that Jason recieves / recieved is racially motivated, and has been from the beginning of the season. But you don't believe that anybody has made any such racial remarks whilst commenting on this thread. Surely you have taken this thread off topic, perhaps you need to start a new topic about how Jason has been racially abused since the beginning of the season and yet nobody has seen fit to do anything about it.

Errr sorry - but once again, no. The only colour I see when I watch Saints is Red and White - I don't see the colour of the players skins, I see the shirt - it's that simple. And yes, I do sometimes label them 'lazy', 'unreliable', 'arrogant' - sometimes even worse, but I do so because the game they play is an emotive one - and they, when they wear the 'Red and White' represent me, the fan. So yes there are some real lazy, unreliable, arrogant players who are black, and they will be told as much by the crowd, as will the white, yellow, brown, blue and orange players. You seem to imply that there are racial overtones here, sorry, but as I said before, I (and I suspect most other fans) see shirt colours when I watch football - not skin tones.

But where does it stop? Allegedly the players lawyers are looking to take action against the person who tweeted the information. But what of the person that disclosed it to him/her, will they then face legal action. Then there is the person that told the person that told the person that tweeted, and the person that told the person that told the person that that told the person that twe......!!! It's just a totally bizarre that anybody thought that this sort of information could be blanked from the public domain. I'm not against injuctions/super injunctions as such, but if they are made available to the rich and famous then they should equally be made accessable to anybody wanting to protect themselves from information disclosure - price should not be an issue. I think that the player involved has been very poorly advised in this instance, and as a result now looks a complete plonker.

What with all the hassle of Twitterers breaking superinjunctions and now this, I really wonder why people bother with so called 'social' networking sites. It appears to me that it's only the 'anti-social' side of these sites that makes any news - strange that...!

Absolutely hate these - even on TV - just too distracting, should be banned or at best only allowed to display a single 'static' ad image during the game. Half time, fair enough - advertise what you want, but not during the game.

Ohhh no, not this again - didn't SRS go off on this some time ago on this board - I seem to remember a thread about the ad space or something like that. For what it's worth I really don't take notice of ads if I go to a game - they really hold no interest whatsoever. However, when I was watching the Posh v MKD match yesterday it did strike me that now we have HD, the advertisements are much more accessible to TV audiences. I just wondered if that is now reflected in the price of pitchside/stadia ad space. All of that said - do the ads interest me - not one iota...!

Ummm very persceptive of you, but let's face it even after all his antics she is still there, must be some 'draw' - wonder what that could be? All of that said - I actually feel sorry for her, but I guess she can always console herself by going shopping. As for Rooney - can't stand him, engineered a pay rise (1 million pound a month..!!), has no respect for the fans - but yes - he has talent (occasionally). Chav - yeah, he always reminds me of that dustbin man that won the lottery and blew it on drink, drugs and stock car racing in his back garden or something.
