It's an England match - should be on a free to air channel in my opinion.

I would tend to agree with you. If you can stay in touch until Christmas, there is every chance that you can turn it around, so long as the new owners invest. There are some pretty poor teams in the Premiership this year (your one, obviously...! ), but there are worse teams than yourselves, luckily. Personally I think you'll survive - by the skin of your teeth - but you'll survive.

Kelvin - he could have easily taken the soft option but his professionalism was unswayed.
-
I agree - this is a much more realistic scenario of were those players might be in a couple of years from now.

There are a lot cheaper ways, and more productive ways, to attract publicity without spunking what few million pounds you have left up against the wall, in order to say that you used to own a Premiership Football Club - errr for 2 months. Bizzare.

So what was the whole sorry saga all about for god sake. Why on earth did the fake sheik get involved in the first place. Surely he can only have lost money. I take it by 'minor role' you mean you have a spare hotdog stand that needs an operator..!

I think somthing just flew right over your head...! -
As I said elsewhere, "Give a Shyte Meter" - not a flicker...!

Some pretty critical marking there - for the sake of point 8, why not just give him a ten eh...?
-
Next target - get out of the bloody relegation zone

Shocking start for John. Pressure could be on Roy Keane at Ipswich as well - see they lost a 2 goal lead last game and got beat in the last minute today. Rooted to the bottom of the CCC - my how times change eh. -

Obvious next move - probably a realistic timeframe to achieve it. But some seem to think we should of got into +tive points games ago - so I guess there will be a whole lot of whinging going on if we dont make it out of the drop zone within the next month. -
Faith - keep it next time...!
-
Slowly, slowly - let's not relish it all at once, eek it out - enjoy....!!! DAMN GOOD POINT THOUGH..!

Yeah but the good news is that Hull have also won and the two teams above Pompey have 2 games in hand still.
-
Although not there - I can confirm that it is no longer -1 though...!!

Remind me - what is it they say about minds that think alike...?

I think that any Dr quotes are in bad taste to be honest - they might offend the BlueFew down the road...!
-
Bollix to an equaliser - hopefully they will score in the 95 and 96 minute to win the game...!!
-
Who cares about corners when we can score shed fulls from open play eh...!!!
-
We dont need to - 95 minutes will suffice...!
-
Damn - come on Wolves. BTW - Why is it that I really want to watch the next 10 minutes of your avatar...? !!

Wes - I don't disagree with anything that you say (including the gloating btw..!), but (and call me stupid at any point) I cannot get my head around this whole thing. The fake Dr, buys a club (or business), he offloads most of it's prized asetts and replaces them with cheap alternatives - sending the business to an all time (Prem) low. He then openly declares that he is looking to refinance the business - therefore we can all safely assume that he has no money. Just to exhasberate the problem further he actually fails to pay his staff and has to go cap in hand to get a loan. So, I admit, I'm confused because for the life of me, I cannot understand why he bought the club in the first place - it just does not make sence. All of that said - I too agree with you on the point of new investors. Apart from the fact that they would probably be able to pick up the club for peanuts once all the dust has settled, I fail to see why anybody would be remotely interested in it. There are loads of very decent alternatives from Newcastle to Darlington, both of whom would snap a wealthy investors hand off. As I said - the whole thing doesn't add up - something very 'fishy' going on.
