Superb centre half, watched him a number of times as well summer target Biyik. I'd prefer Biyik as he's a complete man mountain but Astori is also a superb alternative. He's more than just a stopper, he's also not bad with the ball too.

Has anyone watched much of it this year? Due to my betting, I've managed to take in quite a few games and have to say, thoroughly enjoyed it... especially Roma under Zeman, wow. Anyway, has anyone ever been to an Italian football match (in particular, Roma) and can they recommend any places to stay/go to in Rome? Thinking about going out there for either the Inter or Cagliari game. Ta in advance!

This. Besides, there isn't a striker available to us on the bench I'd swap him for. If he was to get injured now, it'd likely throw our gameplan into chaos. We'd have to integrate someone else into the side, they'd have to get familiar with the players around him and that takes time etc... He should be our first choice striker, regardless, until the end of the season. Then we can review the situation.

Lambert is arguably one of our most intelligent footballers on the field. It's the mobility he doesn't have.

You can add all the height you want, if you're sh1te in the air defensively then there is no point in making that "tactical" switch.
