I just don't see the purpose of reducing the subs bench. Actually, it's annoyed me. I wonder if players get a "bonus" for being named in a match squad and twitchy chairmen voted to reduce it...

The only top-level professional sportsman I can think of in recent times to have come out is Steven Davies, Surrey and England wicketkeeper. Can't disagree with that. If you know anything about football, you can see that Jack is an exceptionally gifted technical footballer. Sure, he's young and still learning but he's got the touch of a PL player, that's for sure.

Why do people keep harping on about Jaidi and pace? If he was in the Conference, he'd struggle against pace. If he was in L2, he'd struggle with pace. In L1, he struggled against pace. In the NPC, he'll probably struggle against pace. However, just because we've gone up a league doesn't mean every player is instantly faster. They're better footballers, but pace varies. Jaidi will need to be rested a times so therefore we'll need cover/competition, but he'll do us just fine for the NPC when he does play.
