OK, I'm stretching it now:

ex Man City chairman's wife and daughter

Roman has done alright for himself as well

OK, so Karren Brady is debatable but what of Carson Yeung's wife? Surely some of you must have seen her in their recent matches, looking concerned alongside her husband? Sadly, I can find no good pictures online, but if anyone else can... Also worth noting is: Linda Henry, John's other half. Any others? (and if anyone can find a picture of Mrs Yeung, that would be immense!)

It's going to be Saggy. He's even maneuvering himself into an untenable position : http://www.metro.co.uk/sport/863295-harry-redknapp-spurs-fans-who-ring-radio-phone-ins-are-idiots Not the first time he's criticised his own fans... though he does have a valid point.

Yes, but that's not an explanation, is it? I'm quick to rule out because it clearly doesn't share any of the characteristics of anything you've just said, let alone the standard explanations given for this phenomena. It's not a remote control helicopter. For a start, it's too high. It's not a flare, as it moves intelligently. What else could it be? Excellent, we can agree on something! However, what if they're not from another planet? Howabout another dimension on this planet, hence their infrequent appearances here? Anyway, assuming they are abducting us, does it not draw parallels with our own studies in other creatures/animals? I mean, they can't deduce that it's a hillbilly (not the best example of our 'intelligent' life) - but they can identify that it is a human... Isn't that what we do, in a way? If we don't understand it, don't we simply 'abduct' it from it's natural environment and run tests?

I'd say it is, considering size, dynamics, shape, materials.. and I'd also ask why did the US AAF claim it was not of this worldly origin, then retracting it? What happened at Rendelsham in the 1980's, too? Were several american military officials all lying or jointly hallucinating? What of Dr Roger Leir who removes implants of an indistinguishable origin from 'abductees'? When examined, why have the implants closest match been to that of a meteorite? And what is this? Flares? CGI? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u59aZjSVubc

I will have a look, but I doubt there is any; science only deals in things that it can count, weigh and measure. Besides, where are the independent reputable scientific studies to prove that what people have experienced is rubbish? You might be able to justify some of the billions of accounts but for many, science has no answer or at least, no explanation. Personally, I'd rather not talk about it. Maybe tomorrow when I've a bit more time!
-
So why did the US Military say they had recovered a 'flying disc' in 1947 only to retract it and claim that it was a weather balloon? What of the Chicago O'Hare UFO sightings? What of the Jerusalem sightings? I'm not sure either whether 5 people at the same time could all fall mentally ill, either: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Travis_Walton

But I think, science aside, there are some things that cannot be rationalised, cannot be explained. For me, it's a dead heat - science cannot disprove or confirm the paranormal phenomena, which leaves massive, massive circumstantial evidence - and that is the key for me. I understand people make things up, can be under the influence of mind altering substances or are simply forgetful but not every one of the billions of accounts cannot simply be dismissed as something explainable. The reason why I am so vociferous is that I've had experiences, as has my family and has my friends and on occasions, we've had them together. Now, I'm not sure how 5 people can all be daydreaming or hallucinating the very same thing...
-
So what about UFO's, alien abductions? Is that purely an overactive mind? Is that sleep paralysis?
-
...and neither does any of your explanations make it true.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Time_slip More here: http://paranormal.about.com/od/timeanddimensiontravel/a/aa012306.htm But of course, the millions of worldwide occurrences can be simply put down to numerous fancy dress days, right Matthew?

No That's a time slip, Matthew.

Everyone and everything has a soul, but not everything remains here after it/they have died. I think it's too easy to pigeon-hole the whole phenomena into one category. I think ghosts, or spirits, come in different guises. In some cases, it is a residual imprint on the area that it resides. In others, it's an earthbound spirit. The reasons as to why it remains here is varied. Emotionally charged event? Favourite place when alive? There are many theories and possible reasons. The human eye can only see a very small percentage of what might actually exist. For all we know, there could be overlapping dimensions/multiverses with every single thing that has ever lived existing (or at least their spirit) still walking among us but invisible to us. Then again, there is every chance that not every soul hangs around after death... and even if they do, it doesn't necessarily mean we would be able to sense it.

Apologies, I must have made a sweeping assumption! (not the first time, sadly!)

Ha, and MLG wasn't jumping to conclusions? Anyway, you're a wind-up, so I'm going to leave it there!

It's kind of a weird situation as whilst only 2 relegation spots minimises the chances of relegation, it also hinders clubs a chance of returning with only 2 promotion spots. 3 would be about right... anyway, looking at the Conference these days is weird - it's like a mishmash of L1/L2 clubs and regional league clubs :-o

He's a massive pr1ck and has turned the subject into a bit of a joke.
