I agree we've got a strong squad, yes. But really, why are below Bournemouth if its that strong? Surely it has to be the management, or the players which aren't performing... which is it? That said, we've still a way to go this year so we shouldn't worry. Frustrating that we've missed out on some players who could have provided great depth though, or, alternatively, competition for the starting 11.

I think you'd need a more solid reason than Schneiderlin's injury for an emergency loan. I can think of plenty of players that we should have chased in the Summer and this window though, but didn't.

I echo the sentiments of a poster earlier (can't remember which one). I too believe that we have players who are far too intelligent to be fooled by NA's constant 'positive rhetoric' and in fact, probably are sick of it. Nevermind, we'll see. I've got my razors at the ready - have you?

I'm starting to worry about the knock on effect this might have on the players if they read this thread and see all of this doubt among the supporters. It's a well known fact that footballers are more susceptible to internet criticism than any other profession in the country. This doesn't bode well.

I met David Nugent in Marbella; he called me a scummer. That said, he's actually alright and has done it at Champ level before so why not? Don't think he takes our rivalry too seriously anyway. The biggest problem would be his wages... then again, he wont' get another contract like the one he got a Portsmouth and besides, we'll probably be one of the few clubs who could afford him outside the PL.

Haha, that theory (Einstein's, I believe?) is now being challenged though, isn't it? I'm still a firm believe that alien life does exist, does visit this planet and because of the overwhelming evidence (you only have to go to YouTube and see some of the incredible videos - O'Hare airport etc) they'll never be a governmental disclosure as it's already blindingly obvious. Besides, it'll likely cause unnecessary "panic" - any excuse for people to rob, loot, steal and so forth... Do you mean a shift into a 4 dimension? As in, we can see beyond our own existence? Multiverse, others dimension etc?
