The only reason I know what is going on with tickets and picking up coach passes is that I'm on this site. There must be hundreds of fans out there who also have not received an email and so have no clue what is going on. My mates only know because I've been able to forward the email people have posted on here. The article on the clubs website 2 weeks ago stated that all succesful applicants from the first ballot would receive details by email 'shortly' if I remember correctly. The ticket office must have a very different interpretation of the word shortly to me.

Super Kel notching up 250 appearances

Absolutely, I hope he gets a chance to prove himself if we do get promoted. -
My PC has decided to no longer display things on it's monitor.
Barry the Badger replied to Colinjb's topic in Technology Chat
Try another computer with the monitor to see if that it's the monitor or your machine, alternatively try your machine with a different monitor, or with your TV... At least then you know where the failure is. -
But Saints set the criteria, if they really wanted to shift the tickets they could. I wouldn't imagine they're making that much money off the busses, and have probably decided it's not worth attempting to sell the last few hundred tickets as it would require ANOTHER ballot, which means more people phoning and emailing constantly asking what's going on. Just don't think it's worth their while.

I guess because there's nothing in it, money wise, for Saints.

Saints fans in "trusting other Saints fans with information they post on a Saints messageboard" shock. Well done.

It's putting question marks over his abilities to win EVERY SINGLE GAME! Panic! The fact is our squad are overperforming, thanks to NA. This has raised expectations because people are idiots and now those people are questioning him despite the fact that he has taken us to a comfortable position at the top of the league, when in reality we should be nowhere near that.

What a bunch of bedwetters. We are top of the league in our first season FFS!!

Portsmouth away tickets - ballot reopened!

Mine are showing now, seems like they've had a rush this afternoon. -

Which is fair enough really, but I don't think you can be surprised that they just got rid of it. -
Portsmouth away tickets - ballot reopened!
Barry the Badger replied to hypochondriac's topic in The Saints
You'd think that if people didn't meet the criteria that were clearly laid out for the first ballot, they wouldn't waste the ticket offices time by applying. -
He definitely had a strop on about something. Numerous times when the ball didn't get to him he threw his arms around in a sulk, and when he scored he just looked miffed. Hope it was just a one off as we need him enjoying his football and happy here.

Come back and ask that again when you are the 4th best tennis player in the world.

Portsmouth away tickets - ballot reopened!
Barry the Badger replied to hypochondriac's topic in The Saints
I know I am being unreasonably jumpy about the fact I've not seen anything on my account yet, but I can't help it, I was complacent about getting my FA Cup Final ticket and they ballsed that up, I've not trusted the Ticket Office since. -
Yes, because what will really help is if Saints fans decide to get payback on a set of Bristol City fans who had nothing to do with this incident.

Is it just me, or is it a little odd for the BBC to put this on their website? http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/15911088.stm RIP Gary Speed, such a quality player.

As always, it seems to be entirely vague. -

Barry the Badger replied to hypochondriac's topic in The Saints
We're not talking about away matches in general are we? I think the police would be quite happy if they do manage to keep numbers down for this one. -

Barry the Badger replied to hypochondriac's topic in The Saints
That's funny, because I'd have said you are the one falling in line to give the police exactly what they want by not going. -
Does anyone see the point/enjoy goal music ?
Barry the Badger replied to Saint Garrett's topic in The Saints
Against Brighton I was probably going mental for about 20 seconds after the goal, this culminated with me ending up on the floor as a guy from 3 rows back decided to crowd surf! So no, I didn't hear it. Celebrations in Block 41 are getting a bit OTT, but funny nonetheless. -
it all depends......on what sort of players they need at, Coventry.

It's easy to get carried away, we feel invincible right now and I do believe we will do it, I have to. BUT there are plenty of examples to show why we shouldn't get too carried away. Look here for example, look at the lead at the top. Look at the gap between Watford and Stoke. http://www.statto.com/football/stats/england/league-championship/2007-2008/table/2007-11-26 It does happen and we cannot be complacent at all. I didn't even have to look very far to find a very applicable example. http://www.statto.com/football/stats/england/league-championship/2007-2008/table

Why do the players have so much space?
Barry the Badger replied to chocco boxo's topic in The Saints
The fitness allows the movement to be as good as it is certainly, but being fit does not create space if you aren't prepared to move. It's all about movement.
