On Saintsplayer highlights did anybody else notice that when Kelvin nearly spills it at the end, Fox sort of puts his hand on the ball as he talks to Davis. Imagine if the ref had spotted that and given a pen, all hell would've broken loose.

But I was always under the impression (from what people have said on here) that the attendance was based on tickets sold, rather than turnstile clicks, so why would two latecomers make any difference?

Was a nice touch to see him waving some of the other players over to the fans yesterday after the match.

Haven't we learnt yet that the ticket office have no idea how many have actually sold, they just take a guess.

It's actually pretty complicated. I don't know where I stand on it. On the one hand, it's clearly an utterly disgusting and horrendous thing for them to be doing, given the values and culture I've grown up with. On the other hand what right do we have to inflict our social beliefs and values on a group of people we have no real relation to?

I do think the Carling is better than the Carlsberg was. At least its not as fizzy as the Carlsberg, so I feel less like I'm going to die when I have to down it at half time and immediately get myself up to row kk.

It's not that funny. When Lowe was bringing this stuff in we were utterly **** and it didn't help at all. Now it is clearly making a difference.

I did wonder if it contributed slightly to the wierd atmosphere around 30 mins (as well as the scorching heat and the fact the football was pretty terrible), people around me stopped watching the game and were instead trying to work out when they should go for the half time beer/food run. I also reckon quite a lot went down even earlier than usual.

Yes, Cortese has killed them because they are part of our history and if there's one thing Cortese hates, it's history. He's going to replace them with two grizzly bears who will be trained to maul anybody who sings past players songs during a match.

To be fair I would like to see more managers pulling interviewers up on their idiotic questions. "would you have liked to see more end product from your team?" "would you have liked to see them make more chances?".

It was hardly an 'experiment', we had no fit right backs.
