  1. The down side is there are a lot of Canadians. I was very surprised by how fat they were and in the resort we stayed in rather than using the the glasses that the hotel provided many of the fat, greedy slobs had their own, larger glasses. The ones that weren't grotesquely obese ranged from mildly irritating to an absolute pain the arse, bragging about their cigar rooms at home, what amazing snorkels they were, we went of a snorkelling trip and this helmet went off on his own and claimed he saw a load of barracuda, funnily enough no one else saw them. I was most surprised as up until then I had though Canadians were by and large okay, but have to say there was little difference to yanks. As for Cuba it is a fantastic place, the food is superb and the rum out of this world. we stayed in Cayo Guillermo, which was beautiful. However it was also a good 8 hour drive from Havana which will mean a two day trip if you want to visit so you'll be better off staying in varradero if you're intending on going there.
  2. Would be a very good signing. £10m would be a great price as well.
  3. That's away at Sheffield Wednesday in the 1984 FA cup quarter final. Remember it because the game was live on telly which was a rare thing in those days. We must only have worn that kit in that game as they were a 2nd division (championship) side in those days.
  4. It does however mean in 3 years time we'll finish second and qualify for the champions league. Although we'll also lose in a last minute in extra time goal in the FA cup semi final.
  5. But if we finished 4th in years to come we could reminisce about how big our foam hands were, which action hero/clown character we dressed up as, how much we spent on half and half scarves, how great the pies were in those days compared to now. We will look back on these days as the good old days, we'd complain about how santised the British Soccerball Premier Championship sponsored by Microsoft is, especially now finishing 9th enables you to qualify for the EMEA play off for the Supergoal World Totalsoccerball Championship.
  6. So even though Koeman rates him as one of europes best keepers, one of the worlds best players wanted him to play for Barcelona. Numerous media have rated him one of the top 5 keepers in the league, not to mention that he's got more clean sheets than any other keeper this year the metrosexual, hysterical tart who had sand on his **** since his hero cortrse left still maintains he's sh*t. OKay then.
  7. I'm sure you'll stumble over one.
  8. It's be nice to hear a few stories. How people got there, what they did, how they celebrated etc.
  9. Just found this on youtube. Some fantastic scenes here especially at the end of the players and fans celebrating. Who was there?
  10. I get the attitude. It's because many are deluded and don't understand the game. We had years through our rise from league one hearing about our unstoppable rise to the premier league, how no player will ever want to leave, how they'll turn down big clubs and higher wages to stay here and play with their mates. Those who disagreed were idiots who had no ambition. Reality is now setting in for some. The reality which some said all along but were told was wrong. The reality That we're a middle sized premier league doing very well and we have a good chance of establishing ourselves as a top half club that with a fair wind can occasionally challenge for a top 4 spot. The relality that The best of our players will go to the biggest clubs. The reality that we then sell them and use the money to find the next one. The reality that We need to make ourselves the most attractive club outside of the biggest clubs to get and keep that next tier down of player, we aren't far off that. If we do this and bring through our own then that's how a club like saints stay a top half club. Some have finally realise The reality that dreams and ambition aren't enough.
  11. Hang on a minute pal, I thought your revelations were going to make people's eyes water? Surely you cared and through everyone else did as well.
  12. Months and months of 'just you wait, I've got something to tell you, when you hear your eyes will water' Then when you finally told us you were right, everyone's eyes were watering, laughing at you.
  13. You might want have a word with Koeman, he doesn't seem to agree, but what would he know http://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/2896/premier-league/2015/03/15/9850932/forster-one-of-europes-best-goalkeepers-koeman

  21. It was the blind devotion to someone else that could do know wrong in their eyes that led them to think this, brushing over the fact that a very good manager was sacked and replaced with one not as good.
