When are the planned marches by Muslims from all of those opposed to these killing by their own? They managed to organise them in hours when there was a cartoon about that they didn't like. I think in people's desperation to appear as lovely, caring people who love everyone they've got confused about what they actually believe in. How has a really exciting signing turned into another les Reed bashing thread? Shouldn't we be praising him for bring yet another fantastic signing into the club? Les once again proves himself to be master in the transfer market and all people want to do is pick holes in his interview. The man who after writing the coaching manual for England joined the club and has overseen our meteoric rise through the divisions, guided the ship through choppy waters 2 season ago to emerge stronger and is now planning for the next instalment of this fantastic story is still mocked and ridiculed by fractions of the fan base. For a man so vilified by fans as a clueless Buffon he seems to continually get an awful lot of things right.

I'm not so sure it was Spurs. Even 10 years later in the early 90s foreign players were still very rare. I remember clear as day reading and article about Micheal Laudrop after he'd been one of the stars of Mexico 86 saying foreign players wouldn't handle the physical nature of the English league. In the late 80s and early 90s all the top player went to Italy, that was where the money was in those days. i seem to remember the likes of Gullit and Vialli coming here towards the end of th careers but IIRC the first foreign star was Bergkamp after the flood gates opened.

Surely its time to put the fear of god in him by resurrecting that terrace classic "look like a wotsit". I'm yet to see anyone subject to that level of vitriol recover. The chant was credited with our rise up the league as ginger players would go to pieces at he abuse which cascaded down from the Northam stand. Telling Koeman he looks like a wotsit will surely have a similar effect and ensure not just a league double for saints but having him question his very existence on the planet.
