Extended highlights will be on the Beeb's website soon!

Lolz. Now I want to see Poyet sent to the stands and someone to play act and get El-Abd sent off.

http://www.huddersfield.vitalfootball.co.uk/article.asp?a=273319 One of the '****eal Football' sites I grant you, but nevertheless...

Huddersfield were a great side when we were in League One. If anything, Clark being sacked makes me more thankful we were promoted last season, because it was by no means easy or a certainty.

I reckon Brizzle will go down. Some seasons you see a club that for a while looked pretty safe then on the last day fall into the drop zone and go down, I reckon we might see them being victim to that. Wouldn't mind either, arrogant club, seem to think they deserve to be a lot higher in the league and act like big time Charlies. Send them down! Skates, Brizzle and Donnie for me please.

I lol'd.

Didn't think it was all that funny to be honest. Giving one word answers, especially to the 'blip' question smacks of trying to be awkward. What was it then?
-
Whatever happens, happens. I'd like to think it'd be just as agonising for them to watch us win the league or finish second.
-
Like they did vs West Brom in 2005? I like your thinking. Yesterday we could have had five or six in the first half alone. I'm thinking we get those chances put away on April 7th and go better than this 4 - 1 ********.
-
I said on another thread - make sure you watch 'all angles covered' on Saints Player.
-
Are we still using 'let's smash them' or whatever it was from the Burnley game build up? If so it's got a good record.

Ever since Lee signed for Saints, there have been about five to ten Japanese journalists waiting for something like this. Last week he got what, two minutes on the pitch? Nigel very kindly spoke to them after the main interviews were done post-Burnley, and the questions were like "Do you know he's part Korean" or "How is his English?". They had nothing else to ask since he barely played. Today, he got 45 minutes and scored an absolute belter. There was only one journalist from Japan, as they assumed he wouldn't be playing today! Have to feel sorry for them really, but the one journo that did make it, she was pretty happy!

Inappropriate behaviour at away fixtures
Crazy Diamond replied to Crazy Diamond's topic in The Saints
To be honest, were it not for the fact I was looking for something else in the programme, I wouldn't have noticed it. As silly as it sounds, I don't think they're even meant to be noticed, maybe too much of a fuss would be caused if the Club were seen to be criticising its own fans... I just wondered really, I hadn't heard of any disturbances. The same page for a second week running has also advised fans that cars parked in the area have been broken into. Would have thought that'd get more attention, but nope, there it is, tucked away on page 54. -
Inappropriate behaviour at away fixtures
Crazy Diamond replied to Crazy Diamond's topic in The Saints
It's something recent, probably West Ham, as the same page in the Burnley programme didn't feature this statement. -
I thought he lacked a bit of pace today, I'm hoping we do what we did with Lambert. Bring in an already very good goal scorer, sort them out to be much fitter than before and just generally improve them.
-
Ever heard of the expression 'one game at a time' ?
-
I noticed this in the programme today. Page 54, 'Supporters Information'... "Some supporters attending away fixtures are giving Southampton Football Club a tarnished reputation. Please behave appropriately at all away matches or you will receive a ban from St. Mary's Stadium and from purchasing away tickets" No indication as to what it is, so I was wondering if anyone knew what the Club might be referring to. There's a statement about throwing objects above that quote, but I'm not sure the two are related. Any ideas?

Ha, I hope the spelling was correct!

We were fantastic, Derby were abysmal. Probably the best performance I've seen in a while at St. Mary's, and Derby are up there for the worst. I can only remember Crewe a few years back at our place who were as bad, and both Crewe and Derby's fans were awful. Be sure to check out the 'all angles covered' on Saints Player when it's available, there's a fantastic shot of Tadanari Lee's goal from behind, it is INCREDIBLE.

Someone was smoking the wacky-backy in the Kingsland, fairly certain of it. Not the first time I've smelt it there either. Be careful whoever you are, because I'm sure it hasn't gone unnoticed and I'm just as sure that the stewards are aware too.
-
Anyone know how it can be done? I've heard of 'homebrew' and all that but as far as I remember Nintendo keep releasing patches that overrules it. I want to play MLB Power Pros 2008, got a bit of a taste for baseball at the moment...!

It won't be moved, surely, as all the last day fixtures take place on one day?

How many points for 2nd place this season
Crazy Diamond replied to Thedelldays's topic in The Saints
The aim has always been two points per game hasn't it? I reckon 92 points would definitely do it. I'm not saying that's what we'd probably need, who knows what the minimum could be. -
Assuming the game is made a featured match on the Football League Show, there'll be an online feed of it, like there was for the Forest game...
