FWIW I think Moi is utterly pointless. When he was first here he was horrific. He’s improved in that he doesn’t do everything wrong, it’s just that he does nothing except occupy a space on the pitch. Very occasionally he receives a ball and passes it to a team mate. And that’s it. Utter waste of time. Redmond is frustrating and messes up more often than not, but at least he’s trying something; trying to be proactive; and very occasionally it works too. It might be a bit like picking a favourite from Gove and Rees-Mogg, but I’d have Redmond over Moi every single time.

It was obvious what you meant. Which means MLG made yet another mistake while attempting to look clever. When you get to my age it’s the little things …
-
Quite frankly all he needs to be is better than Moi to improve our team so chances are it’s £6m well spent, a pittance by modern standards.
-
Knowing MLG he probably has Jaffa cakes just so he can start an argument with himself as to whether they’re a cake or a biscuit.

And you clearly don’t know your saintsweb. It’s check pal, pal. 😉 You’re talking pony 😂 -
When KWP plays left back he does it well, but it leaves us without a left foot as all our no 10s are right footed too. we end up with no option to go outside or overlap so lose a cutting edge and we create little enough as it is. Its not a slight on KWPs skill, attitude or endeavour, but he shouldn’t be our left back.

Number of stripes on the new shirt?

Yep, far better to stick rigidly to the social norms you were born into. Then you can really grow into the stereotype grumpy old man with dinosaur views, stewing every more miserably about how it’s not like it used to be. ”Nothing makes sense any more” Youre gonna be tonnes of fun in your old peoples home

I’d rather we went for Mo Salah and Kevin de Bruyne.
-
I think the third goalkeeper coach we now have will make all the difference
-
So are big Sam and Pulis. Claude Puel too.

I’m sure Sam McQueen won it so guess that was 2015?

Nigel Quashie. Exactly what we needed in that relegation scrap.

Whereas I think we should be finishing above at least Palace, Brighton and Brentford. We are not far off where we should be in terms of position, but off nevertheless. The lack of progress Ralph has made now he has his own squad (or a lot closer to it) is a concern. And the bizarre absences of certain players for unfathomable reasons suggests his management style is rather dictatorial. If we were top ten I’d say he’d earned that right, but we aren’t. I’m pretty tired of Ralph now and get the impression a lot of the players are too.

Everyone has a different threshold but I think yesterday was mine - time for a change. We do need to be careful wanting a change - our 2 previous managers were horrific and the football under Puel was dire. When we get it right under Ralph the football is proactive, aggressive and attacking, the complete antithesis of what we had under Puel and, relative to that, a joy to watch. But we are getting it right so rarely, and most worryingly the players have stopped working for him. The only one performing right now is the keeper looking for a contract somewhere else. His selections are baffling, his substitutions uninspired, he’s tactically out manoeuvred by everyone and his man-management skills appear to be woeful. Great coach, appealing football philosophy, but his time here is done. At least it should be. IMHO of course.

Forster. The only reason we don’t have a 9-0 against us this season.

Balls - feel very sorry for the lad and wish him the very best.

I don’t see how anyone ever gets over losing a young child. My heart goes out to him and all people who have to go through something like that.

I’d have Ronald as manager, play our current formation and have Forster clyne Toby VVD Bertrand Morgan Wanyama Armstrong Lallana Mane Pelle Second Choices Boruc KWP Fonte Lovren Shaw Romeu JWP Davis Tadic J Rod Ings other 3 K Davies, Chambers and Lambert

Southampton is pretty lacking to be fair. Stonehams nice but short by modern standards, both Winchesters are decent but not special. He’d have to live in Surrey (I.e. Wentworth) and commute I’d imagine. Shane Long manages it so I guess it’s ok. Maybe they could car share and compare scoring records over the last three years on the way to training? As for the football… I imagine if we did consider him (extremely unlikely IMHO) it would be on a weighted pay/play deal so don’t think fitness would be a concern in that respect. And he’s easily better than any of our current options for front four. I think the issue is how he plays, i.e. his lack of effort in pressing. He did score a few for spurs, often from the bench. He was benched because he ambled around like Tiss used to do and it’s not enough in this era, especially for the tactics Ralph uses. At best you could try and hide him up top but as a no 10 he’d be a liability without the ball. And we don’t need him for free kicks

Every time I see a post from TWar I’m reminded of that quote about it being better to have everyone think you’re an idiot than opening your mouth to confirm it.

I dunno, Watford got a decent win last time out … 🤦🏻♂️

BBC gossip says Napoli are interested in Bednarek and Salisu … Like most on here I suspect, I’d be happy with one of those, very unhappy with the other!

Fair points … until he says how happy he is with Liverpools owners. Yep, your owners are far nicer Juergen. Especially when they were first in the queue for the furlough payments and the European super League.
