if anythin it shows that you are not a talent scout

fortuantly we were also 3-1 up by the time they had thier chances of note and they were also fortunate that we didnt take any of our other chances of note. They were also fortunate that the lino got an ofside wrong. In summary we were very fortuante.

Class act without a doubt. I am terrified that should we lose Fonte to a long term injury we are proper buggered and will ship lots of goals. Remember the saying "Goals win games and Defences win Championships". Playoffs with fonte and mid table without.

its a damn site more interesting than half the threads on this board to be fair. Let face it some of the threads like "how many goals do you think we will score in the whole campaign thread" genius i tell you.

If we were still at the Dell, where would be in the leagues?

of course because they are empty most saturday afternoons in comparison to SMS. -
some of the comments me laugh , tore the netting back, ripped the netting off, surged across to the home fans....... and then unleashed some particlarly strong language whilst gesturing at the s thaints fans. I must say those fans in the northam must have been left traumatised.

I heard from a very reliale source some interesting stuff about his loan to qpr. Apparently when he went to loftus road and was filmed by sky running into the stadium QPR hadn't been given permission to talk to him by saints. Saints spotted him at the ground on the TV and phoned qpr to find out why they were approaching our player without permission (which they denied until they realised it had been on TV). QPR then to keep out of trouble agreed to an inflated loan fee to take the player.

perhaps they could share a cell with Barnard then eh

A concern for who exactly, you or the person that pays them?

I think we are missing a really big opportunity to kick on this season. We have got off to a good start and some of that is down to the momentum we carried through from a great L1 campaign. we have lost AOC and banked 12 million. Cork has definately strengthened the team but I feel De Ridder who is still unproven and Fox arguable not needed mean we havent really improved in the areas needed. We needed strengthening throught the spine of the team and so far only have corkin a key position that needed filling. An injury up front to either lambert of connoly and we are buggered. Blackpool got off to a great start in the premier with the momentum from thier NPC campaign but fell away and got relegated. Now i dont think we will be relegated but had a massive opportunity to kick on. 3 hours to go and i hope we dont waste it.

Swindon or Saints V Charlton or Preston

Seems that we were trying to do a swap deal but QPR were having none of it. I did hear that NA and NC had a little bus up over it as he was a top target
-
Interesting you mention the dithered and gaxumped theory as I have just heard a little snippet from someone inside the club that NA & NC have had a little bust up over this transfer. Apparantly NA really wanted the lad and NC delyaed tying the deal up as he was away on holiday and reading jumped in a beat us to it.

So pichards, what do you know - you quickly removed the post about hearing a bid for 2.5 million for a premioer league CB.

I think most people respect his opinion but he consistantly rams it down everyones throats every day on more than one occasion. Clearly designed to wind people up. I think everyone knows is opinion on both hoddle and our predicted performance and dont need to be reminded every few hours. If my son demonstrated thes traits I would get him tested for autism. FFS

how can anyone judge the level of risk when we dont know what the total pot of cash that is available to spend? surely if we spend £5million when we have £6 million available to spend is a much bigger risk than say £5mill when we have a total of £20 million to spend. risk has to be relative.

£4m swoop for Burnley duo Rodriguez and Fox?
wild-saint replied to modern matron's topic in The Saints
why dont we put together an Arsene Weger type deal, mabe something like this (cortese take note) - - £1million up front - £1million after 798 games - £1million after 298 goals - £1.5 million after 99 games for england -£0,75p if we get promotion - £3million if he gets a BJ from the queen Thats a 7,500,000.75 deal in arsenals books a bargain -
why have you had a BB message to meet in the city centre at 9am to get some free stuff.

it does say that they met our valuation and if I recall correctly we valued him at £12m up front.
