  1. That is utter nonsense and you know it is. I agree with a lot of what is said on here but I also think there's a lot of people who live with their heads in the clouds. For some reason it appears to be be some kind of crime to be realistic and have an opinion that isn't the same as everybody else's. This is a forum for people to discuss and share views. For some reason it seems to have turned into some kind of place to bully and belittle those don't want to follow the herd.
  2. What the **** is that supposed to mean? I've just had a text from your English teacher. She says you're to put in some extra hours after school as you clearly haven't been listening in class. She would like you to look at your spelling and how to use punctuation in sentences.
  3. Really? perhaps you'd like to look back and check on that.
  4. I think Saturday showed that it doesn't work. I'd much rather see us playing with 2 up front. Good old 4-4-2.
  5. Yes, Ronald McDonald.
  6. Hmmm, I've just had a text to say he'll be gone by the time the transfer window closes, something I'm not happy about at all. Letting Cork go would be a huge mistake.
  7. Love it. Horrible little greedy ****.
  8. I bet he scores no more than 12 goals this season.
  9. Sunderland are in for Kalou. Now that's the sort of player we need. He could definitely do a job for us.
  10. In the same boat as us then!
  11. West Ham and Hull have both made decent signings. Campbell to Palace for £800k could be the bargain of the season. Pelle & Long for a combined £20m just makes me cringe.
  12. Whilst we continue with this 4-3-3 nonsense I don't see things improving. It may help us defensively but it leaves us too lightweight up front and going forward with huge gaps all over the place. Fine if you've got pacey players who can get into those spaces but we haven't. We need two up front.
  13. I look forward to being proved wrong but Pelle was always a bit of a gamble. Scoring a hatful of goals in the Dutch league is a completely different story to playing in the Premiership. So far he just looks like a squad player at best. Someone to come off the bench or play in the early stages of the league cup against lower opposition. Crazy thing is that we had someone like that in Billy Sharp. Pelle looks like he's a Championship striker at best. As for Long, well, I've made my feelings very clear on here. Not what we need and certainly not for £12m. That said, maybe Koeman should give him a chance up top and stick Pelle on the bench for the next game? I'd love him to start banging them in for us but he isn't going to do that unless he's given a decent run in the side. We've still got a long way to go and a hell of a lot of work to do. A winger is a priority and then somebody who can put the ball in the net. A poacher.
  14. Based on that performance, 17th would be a major achievment.
  15. I'm convinced that Billy Sharp would have done a better job than Pelle but that's not an option any more. Not sure about the formation at all. Message to the baord... How is this considered to be the progress that you've bleated on about?
  16. I'd like to see him show some of the form that's got him an international call up. All I've seen is a player who doesn't look anything special at all.
  17. Would've been a much better buy than Long but as other have said, it's too late now. The other thing to consider is whether he'd be willing come to us? I'm sure there's plenty of other clubs that he'd rather go to and that will be prepared to pay silly wages. Being realistic, Long is about as good as we can hope for. It's just a shame that we spent so much on someone who runs around a lot but doesn't seem to be too good at putting the ball on the net.
  18. I can see a last minute deal being struck with Townsend coming to us and Morgan going the other way. If Morgan is going to Spurs (and I think he will) then there's other players I'd rather take from Spurs before Townsend.
  19. YNWA = You're Now **** Agger
  20. Chop his hand off and it'll stand for You'll Never **** Again
  21. Absolute quality??? Average at best from what I saw. The one thing that most of the pundits were saying after Arsenal's game was that they looked defensively poor and Chambers was caught out far too many times.
  22. I'd have thought that wages would be the stumbling block with Agger. I'm still confused as to why Martin Kelly didn't come as part of the deal for Lovren. We wanted him but he turned us down and then went to Cripple Paralysis.
  23. He's a cheeky ****. He didn't have a club when we signed him. Saints offered him a lifeline. Man up and get on with the job. Social media really isn't helping the modern game is it???
