Yep, that's right. Don't expect a signing before the weekend... Correct. Definitely in for 2 defenders... Correct. No ITK cred at all in either of those bits of information is there? I don't understand the constant slagging of fellow fans just for sharing a bit of info. It's information, that's all. I'm not trying to empty people's bank accounts or commit some awful crime, just share some information that may be kf interest to others. What is there to be gained by making any of this up? Absolutely **** all..

Morgan's head gone- Update: It has been re-attached
Sidney Fudpucker the 3rd replied to Chez's topic in The Saints
Hes basically gone on strike to force the club to sell him. Another selfish, greedy *****. Although from his perspective, why is it that half the team can be sold but he can't? -
I can tell you that we've not placed a bid for him. This information came directly from one of our directors a couple of weeks ago. He told me that there were other targets and Ings wasn't even being considered at the time.

More chance of us signing Connor Wickham from Sunderland.
-
Been told not to get hopes up about any more signings this week. VERY slim chance but negotiations are ongoing with a couple of clubs / players & not at the stage of being able to confirm anything. We're definitely in for 2 defenders but my source won't say more than that.

What about Cork?

Stop treating the fans like they're stupid. Tell us the truth about why so many players have been sold. Admit that the deals for Shaw and Lallana were agreed before the WC and that RK/LR had lied when he said there'd been no offers for any players. Show some intent to move forward byspending some of the money that's come in on some proven quality!

I totally agree, we need to spend the money on the defence and attack. IMHO we don't need Taider at all. I think the only reason we've taken him was because it was the only way to get rid of Osvaldo. Read what Koeman says about him on the OS... "I’ve spoken to him about the positions he can play in, and it was a good meeting because he showed me real ambition." Clearly Koeman has never seen him play. If he was high on the shopping list then the manager would be well aware of the positions that a player can play. Basically we've been lumbered with him.

I've just paid my £5 subscription and based on this **** I'm thinking about asking for a refund. Have we really got nothing better to do than make up songs that sound like they were written by a 12 year old in the school playground?

When are you going to grow up you tiresome fool? I've know. Cestrian Saint since he was a kid. Went to Sweden with him for the preseason tour in '04 & the JPT final where we were sat in the row in front of fellow TSF member John Boy Saint. Yes, he's an eternal pessimist but so are others on this forum so why don't you give the lad a break and take your bully boy attitude back to the playground.
-
I actually think that Koeman is simply trying to put a positive spin on things. He knows how frustrated the fans are and also knows that the club won't say anything about incoming players. All he's trying to do is keep spirits up. Should he say that there's 2 or 3 players coming in at the weekend when it's not 100%? No, probably not but at least he's staying positive. It would be far more worrying if he was saying 'we're trying to get players in but none of them want to come here'.
-
I was told exactly the same thing and that the players we're currently looking at are not our number one choices. We've failed with nearly every one of our inital targets and have had to re assess the situation.

Just been told by an everton supporting friend that Rodwell is going back there on a season long loan.
-
Bit gutted I didn't put money on it. I was only saying to a friend on friday that I wonder what odds you could get on Rickie missing his first pen for Scousehampton.
-
There's definitely something being worked on. I was told there may be an announcement tonight but I think it's a bit too late now. My source won't reveal names this time. I did wonder if we were after Jenkinson on loan as WHU have just announced his arrival.
-
I'm told it's because we have several young players who Koeman believes aren't quite ready to make the step up. The loans are with an option to buy. It kind of makes sense. You get a player who can do a job in the short term. If the youth player doesn't make the grade then you sign up the loan Ayer on a permanent deal. If your youth option comes good then you can send the loan player back. I guess this is the train of thought with Bertrand & Targett?
-
I was told pretty much the same thing. There may be an announcement later today as the club are currently locked in negotiations and are trying to get a couple of deals sealed. No names, sorry. Also been told to expect more loans.
-
Couldn't agree more. Back in 2004 on the pre-season tour in Sweden he was one of the only players to come and chat to fans and sign stuff. Top bloke when I met him.
-
Apparently we're getting Saphir Taider on loan as part of the Osvaldo deal.

Morgan and Jay to Follow According to Simon Peach
Sidney Fudpucker the 3rd replied to brett24's topic in The Saints
Just put a call into my source. They will both be allowed to leave. There's an offer for both if them to Spurs and there's also an offer from Liverpool for J-Rod. -
Sky Sources: New 5 Year Contract offered to Jay Rodriguez

Liverpool are in for Jay Rod following the collapse of their deal for Remy. -
Liverpool have bid for Jay Rod following the Remy deal collapsing.

Sorry, poor choice of wording. I have to be careful how much I say. What I will add is that the general vibe is that Les Reed is at the centre of everything and seems to be a bit of a headless chicken on a ego trip.
