Post Match Reaction: Manchester United 1-1 SAINTS
Jimmy_D replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
http://m.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/24503988 Full write-up on the BBC is far more balanced than the 'Man Utd haven't won at home' template they used for the short one they put up quickly We've had an awesome result today, challenge now is to follow it up against Fulham if we're going to actually mount any sort of challenge on the higher places. Maybe the aiming for Top 4 helped us today? Not sure Saints teams of the past would have still been fighting and chasing at 89 mins losing at Old Trafford with as much belief and effort as we did today, back when our aim was mainly to avoid relegation. What might help us is the League One / Championship experience we still have in the team. The constant pressure of having to get a result every single week is something we've experienced, albeit at a lower level. -

We deserve at least a point here...

That Arsenal goal is the sort of goal you can watch as many times as you like and never get tired of it.
-
We're playing pretty well, might just have a chance of taking something from this.

Said on 5 Live he'd picked up a knock in the warm up. Hopefully nothing serious.

The reaction of the Northam Stand might have clued him in a bit as well.

Seeing the current predictions... time to dig this site out again! http://www.sportsclubstats.com/England/Premier.html We really have had a great start

Proper backs to the wall battling win today! Close between Lallana and Boruc for MotM, Lallana just edges it for me.

Unless there's a buyout clause in there that could take the decision out of the club's hands, can't see him going anywhere until there's only two years left on his contract. Until then, barring serious injury or the player going on strike, we're not going to be losing a great deal of value on him (especially as he's likely to keep improving).

Sounds like it could be caused by JavaScript. If it happens again, try leaving it (a few minutes) to see if it sorts itself out. If that works, that particular page should load ok again in the future without the wait.

Daring to dream - What would we need to do to reach the Champions League?
Jimmy_D replied to Colinjb's topic in The Saints
Depends. I'd argue that the constant narrative of breaking into the top four has helped us in the transfer market. That alone has made it worth making those statements for me. -
Unless I see an OP with new information linked to, this is ooooold ground that has been covered way too many times.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Gotta be happy with that!

It's very VERY good. It won't work on the PS4; no backwards compatibility, although I'm sure it'll be re-released on PS4, possibly with a few extras.

Malware Bytes is the best free virus scanner I've used (especially the stealth methods of installing it has to get rid of tricky viruses that try to block anti-virus). Adaware or AVG are also good alternatives if you want real time protection running in the background for free.
