  1. Malware Bytes is the best free virus scanner I've used (especially the stealth methods of installing it has to get rid of tricky viruses that try to block anti-virus). Adaware or AVG are also good alternatives if you want real time protection running in the background for free.
  2. If the parachute payments covered the payments to the ex-players, you'd think that they would pay them back now instead of over x amount of time. Either they're already earmarked for something else, or Pompey are going to have to deal with the temptation of that money being sat in the bank earmarked for the ex-players, while other things, like the state of the stadium and the team on the pitch suffers.
  3. Cheers, updated http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?24915-Libel-Reminder-Use-of-Main-Board-Rules-Useful-Links&p=1021636#post1021636 I'll look into adding Instagram as well.
  4. The main reason we haven't bought any British players (or many players in general) is that we've produced them ourselves... That really is laughable.
  5. Everyone's had a chance to have their say now.
  6. That would be zero on both counts, so technically, infinite money paid per minute played, but he never conceded a competitive goal for us. Bargain!
  7. Imagine if SISU had succeeded, and we were in Coventry's position now, missing out on £20m.... *shudder* Shows you how fast we've risen, where we're missing out on £20m we might have had, and the general feeling seems to be annoyance, rather than it being devastating.
  8. Not that we needed it too much with the reputation it already has at the moment, but this is the icing on the cake as a case study to sell the academy to the absolute best young players in the country.
  9. Could have gone either way, just didn't take our chances. If Webb gives that first penalty, or Osvaldos shot sneaks past the keeper, or Lallana's shot goes just a bit to the right and goes in off the post, we'd probably be sat here 2nd in the league. We'll have better days. How ****ing difficult is it to train some decent officials?
  10. this.

  13. He'll be fine this time!
  14. Looked good, was nearly clean through a couple of times, just needs more time with the squad. Reckon the ref bottled sending him off because the first booking was so soft, definitely would have been booked if he hadn't been on a yellow.

    Lee Mason

If I was that bad at my job I'd be sacked.
  16. Seems he's managed to annoy Sunderland fans even more than he did us http://www.readytogo.net/smb/threads/lawro-not-too-keen-on-di-canio.800234/
  17. Thinks we can get a Top 8 finish this season, which isn't unreasonable. Seems to be about where the bookies are pitching us currently anyway. The fact that he's talking about improving from that to Champions League within two seasons suggests that there's already a plan in place to continue the major investment during the transfer windows for the next couple of seasons as well. If you can't get carried away with what's happening to Saints now, when are you going to be able to? This, now, could be the best ever time to be supporting this club
  18. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5J5t60STOPg http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eJ-Ju3CrkHA I see Virgin Media have dug some old footage of Crouch signing for Pompey to help advertise BT Sport. And yes, that IS Redknapp narrating at the end of those
  19. Depending on the exact wording, that clause could come into effect every time he played for us while on loan here
  20. Does anyone remember that wee Scottish fella that used be our manager? Think he might have got us to an FA Cup Final or something? Always had a quip in the post match interview...
  21. Alanis RUINED that word.
  22. I have one like that, but without the maker's name on the back.
  23. This summer has been mad. Literally like watching someone playing Football Manager with real life.
