Happy with the win. Game was about par as for expectations being met. Kelvin, Long and Bertrand magnificent. Mane, Pelle and Tadic pretty poor. I dont think Pelle will score for us again this season. Confidence shot to ribbons.

For the last forty years England have picked decent players and made them play in a different way to the way in which they excel. A tactical straitjacket that makes them less able to perform both individually and collectively. They knew Le Tiss would break the mould, so that's why he was scandalously ignored. Not a great performance but managed to grind it out. Well done Mane, never stopped trying and is starting to have much fewer mad moments. A genuine threat for us and developing into a top PL player.
