  1. Wow that was quick, so sad. Hope it wasn't painful. Condolences to all his friends and family.
  2. He was, apart from not booking Shaw for throwing the ball away first half, and also shows pull back attempt on Broja in the 2nd. Just because Broja shrugged him off, it's still a booking
  3. I was there for the cup win with tiss and Barry Horne, and that is by far the best performance up there since then . Like both games we could have scored 8. Brilliant , f**k you north London yobs
  4. Has anyone else noticed that Broja is fantastic when the ball is played up the channels, but not very good on crosses, eg that one from Tino on Saturday and that tap in against Burnley (?) . Ostenstaad was the same for us, as are Lukaku and Werner at Chelsea. Maybe he wont be the answer too all their prayers, as they don't see to be able to provide that service to the £160 million duo that they already have .
  5. Juanmi scored twice yesterday for bets in a 4 nil copa del rey win at his old club Real Sociadad. Sociadad would have gone one nil up, but Var ruled it out based on a wrong frame.
  6. If I was Blackford, I would keep one of those small car fire extinguishers in my pocket, and the next time Bojo lies to Parliament, he should just walk across the aisle, spray Johnsons trousers with it and say " sorry, I thought the right Honourable Members pants were on fire !" He should get away with it, as fire extinguisher didn't exist when the parliamentary code was last update by Pitt the toddler, or whoever it was.
  7. Very sorry to hear your news. I have a bit of time on my hands , so I could take it on till the end of the season. Stay strong .
  8. As soon this transfer was mooted, someone put up an analysis of his game, apparently he doesn't like being pressed. Just hope for him that no opposition Coaches have access to that info!
  9. Add Sygurdson to that list too. Chester Prison are going to have a seriously good football team .
  10. We must be getting near the point when a Watford manager will have once been a member of the band "The Fall" .
  11. I think utd won't let him go to West ham, in case he helps them into a CL spot.
  12. Always hated Mark Hughes and David Speedie. Nothing they ever did in a Saints shirt changed my opinion of them.
  13. Ify penalty decision, you could see a slight contact with the ball which is normally enough, certainly enough for a big 6 team. Having said that, Tella should have lumped it upfield before that, instead of trying to control it with 2 men on him.
  14. Apparently, their new owners gave them a "Pep talk" in the dressing room after the Cambridge game. Some of their surplus players could be in bits in a skip already!
  15. I think Arsenal picked up 50 red cards under Wenger, so they were very well drilled in playing with 10 men.
  16. A CHRISTMAS Miracle
  17. I think it is the other way round atm, the Daily Telegraph,Mail and Express are running the country .
  18. Just seen Liverpool have had a massive Covid outbreak at the same time that their 2 star forwards are of at the AFCON. Are the two issues related ?????
  19. F*cking scary pub we broke down next to on the North Circular on the way back though!!
  20. As a neutral, I was so fed up with the bias of the BT commentary team, that I was delighted with the penalty and late goal. All you needed was for McMannaman and Keown to start calling each other blood and it could have been full on Arsenal TV. Good game though, Arsenal really caused City problems until Gilberto did his usual .
  21. Used to like Newcastle United, have some mates up there who support them, but now I just hope they crash and burn. From the threats of legal action and the dodgy corporate structure to get the bone saw brigade takeover done , and now this manipulation of the system to get two 6 pointers delayed until the transfer window opens. Now we could be facing MBappe and Halland up front instead of Dwight Gayle ( in their dreams ). Not sure who is likely to sign for them and risk swapping the Champions league for the Championship next year. My guess is a few loans and maybe a couple that want a final big contract. The PL/EFL should say that any new signings cant play in the re-arranged games, as it skews the competition and the games were called of under special circumstances. Also suspensions should be counted in the 13 outfield players available for the match, as a suspension is supposed to hurt you, not help you get a game called of because you don't fancy it at the moment !
  22. Doherty was travelling and his forward momentum caused Forster to drop the ball. You can rarely touch a keeper, let alone if you are in motion. Think back to the Villa game last year, when Martinelli hit Romeu and the goal was ruled out. Mom for me Jan Vallery, out of position, especially 2nd half. Looks like he might be back.
  23. Can see us struggling to get a team out for that now, particularly at the back. Salisu should have just let Son run on, it was obvious that Taylor wouldn't be happy until he'd sent at least one of ours off !
  24. I know we only have 4 covid cases, but if that results in Shane Long starting, surely that is a case for postponement ! We are obviously saving players for Sunday, but not looking forward to this afternoon. Time to stock up the fridge !
  25. Quite right, if you are fouling someone outside the box, then carry on fouling them I the box, then it's a penalty. The des walker tug on overmars years ago comes to mind. Had hold of him outside the box, but forgot to let go of him when they crossed the line.
