The Wallaces used to live in Wakefield Road. Steve Williams used to live in digs in Harcourt Rd, me & a mate went round one evening, but he was out. A girl at my youth club claimed to be going out with him, but I didn't believe her, until the following week when she bought in a signed team photo, still have it. I used to get Wayne Talks mail, he still lives in St Catherines Rd. I work about 5 minutes away from Jose Fonte's place.

Your favourite Saints players that weren't popular?
Dimond Geezer replied to Bad Wolf's topic in The Saints
I read today that he's now a lawyer & was involved with the panel trying John Terry. He probably earns more now than in his playing days. -
I know where he lives, we share the same house number and the postie used to put his mail through our door, despite our respective roads being half a mile apart.

Using BODMAS I get 9 (the correct answer), worryingly my calculator gives 1.

It was 24 years ago, did my first black run there.

It made me laugh & I'm not 7. -
When I had my nippers announced a few years ago I just called the community office.

There's signs warning of clamping in there, £125 (I think) release fee.

It would have been interesting if England had been awarded a penalty when SRL was on the pitch, who would have taken it? Would Lampard have pulled rank, despite having missed a few (again yesterday), or would he have deferred to Rickie, who has only missed 2 in his entire career (I think). My guess Lampard's ego would have won.

I was told this morning that SRL is on £38k a week. It came from a bloke who is friends with his banker (both STHs), highly unprofessional of the banker, but the days of trusting them are over.

Rickie Lambert called up for England

So the sun does actually shine out of Gerrards @rse. -
Probably about 6 or 7 over 30 something years of Saints supporting, all are in the loft somewhere. I first saw Saints in '79 (against Vancouver Whitecaps) & my Uncle gave me his silk cup final scarf for the match, when I went to give it back, he said I could keep it, that in the loft as well. My current scarf is the JPT final one, and only gets worn when the weather dictates.

Rickie Lambert called up for England

Chuffed for the bloke, really well deserved. It's a bit of a double edged sword though, I fear the scribes are already preparing their criticism in the event he doesn't score or England play poorly (which is likely). -
What is the attaction in keeping a snake as a pet ?
Dimond Geezer replied to alpine_saint's topic in The Lounge
Um, because he wanted a snake, if that's alright with you. It wasn't bought with the intention of teaching responsibility, he wanted one for his birthday, the responsibility comes as an added benefit. For your info (although I don't know why I bothering) but there's a bit more to it than you think - it gets fed & fully cleaned out weekly, water changed & sh!t checked daily & the vivariums temperature regularly monitored, especially during the hot weather. We have refused many requests from No.2 son for a dog for the simple reason it would be shut indoors for most of the day. -

Alps talking out of his @rse again, what a surprise. My son has a corn snake, it is neither venomous or a crusher. Whilst I personally can't see the fun in it, he is very attached to it & he has learnt valuable lessons in responsibility. -
No way, that's terrible news! British comedy won't be the same, alas. Rip

Another one bites the dust.

That guy had one hell of a life story. Rip Bert.

Good luck to Chappers, sad to see him go, I was a big fan of his during his first stint here, and was very pleased to see him return. A good man to have in any squad, always gave 100%.
