I remember Mark Blake scoring his debut goal in the same match.

There's no any ambiguity with the definition of the word "entitled". As already stated, the monarch is the only person entitled to a state funeral, the others in the list were merely granted them. No matter which words & phrases you choose to embolden & despite what you may think, she is not, and has never been the monarch, therefore not entitled to a state funeral.
-
That' awfully big of her, when you consider that the only person actually entitled to a state funeral is the monarch.
-
She's got her perceived desire. Finally being recognised as a royal.

She did a lot of damage to this country & sadly her legacy lives on. I wont celebrate her death, but neither will I look forward to the sanctimony we are about to be deluged with. She got lucky, if it wasn't for the Argentinian nut case, we'd have been rid of her.

Is extending the ground at the end of next season actually true?
Dimond Geezer replied to Roger's topic in The Saints
Outline is an agreement in principle, full permission is what you get on a detailed submission. For example, you could be granted outline permission to build a 3-bed house with offroad parking on a plot of land you may own, you can then sell the land to a developer who would get full plans drawn-up, specifing the finishes, size, height, layout, parking arrangement etc, this is then submitted to the Local Authority for Full permission. You don't need to have Oultine before going for Full, but if there are contentious issues, you can 'test the water' by going for the cheaper Outline permission first. -
Is extending the ground at the end of next season actually true?
Dimond Geezer replied to Roger's topic in The Saints
Under the planning laws, three years is the maximum time period allowed in which to start work once full permission has been granted (interestingly, there is no time period in which work has to be completed). However, if Outline permission was granted, there is an additional two years in which can be used to tidy-up the reserved matters, giving a total of 5 years. This could have been the case for Reading. To answer the original question, there is no way that we could apply for planning tomorrow, and have the Stadium ready for the start of next season. There will need to be daetailed plans drawn up by an Architect, Structural Engineers, M & E Engineers, etc. Without speculating about the others, us Structral Engineers aren't the quickest off the blocks. -
I played in goal from 8-35 years old. It was the part of the game that I enjoyed most, have lost a few teeth, got a few scars, shattered a knee, buy loved every (well most) challenge, but at 5'9" I had to compensate for by lack of aerial ability with something. I can confidently say that there is no way I'd have let Jay Rod get to that ball before me. I consider my self fairly sane.

Are you strugglling financially?
Dimond Geezer replied to Dibden Purlieu Saint's topic in The Lounge
Not had a pay rise for 4 years so with rising costs etc personally worse off, family wise, about the same as Mrs DG has almost doubled her working hours. Will be royally screwed in a couple of years time though as No.1 son will be on his way to uni. -
This guy's done some work for me over the last few years. http://www.sparkybailey.com/ He does a good job & doesn't charge the earth (do you see what I did there ).

That is the crux for me. I can forgive the lack of ability, that is not the fault of the management, or even the players themselves, but to not put in the effort or show any desire to win the game is unforgivable. We have a population 100 times greater than Montenegro, surely we can find 11 players who want to represent their country and will put in a shift doing so. It's time ROTR looked away from the usual 4 teams supplying the bulk of England players.

The last couple of times I went there I was staying in a local hotel, so took the M25 south of London then the A20 into Greenwhich, that will avoid the con. charge. If you're not actually attending the gig you could arrange to meet you daughter in the public carpark right next to the O2, not the O2 carpark, but the one that serves the tube (it's also cheap weekend parking there).

I think you may have to try elsewhere, it looks like the flodlights are on the artificial stuff: http://www.southampton.ac.uk/sportandwellbeing/facilities/outdoorfacilities.html

Going back a few years, so I don't know if they're still available, but you could try, Southampton Sports Centre, Trojans RFC, Fleming Park all have/had artificial pitches to rent, assuming you want artificial of course.

A very poor 42 for me. I had spelling issues (Trondt Egil Soltvedt FFS) , forgot the likes of Kevin Davis, Kevin Phillips & Pater Crouch & ran out of time before getting to todays crop of players. I did get Dryden, Walters & Van Gobbel though.

I like the Southampton Shard.

Just heard this. I hadn't heard he was ill, sad news. Rip

The answer to a definite NO! Have they thought through what would happen when a teacher decides that he/she wants to be the centre of attention & stage their own massacre, or even just looses their rag one day after constant baiting my the kids & instead of shouting & ranting at them, simply blasts them off the face of the planet, do they then arm the kids? They really are fools over there. -

F eck me. I'll take that point. Has Artur been having penalty saving lessons from Kelvin? -
I remember watching that game a getting frustrated at the number of times that passes could have been put to Beatts, (not just setting up shots, but during the general run of the game). and he didn't get it. On one occasion I remember Beckham had the ball left midfield-ish, Beatts going down the middle un-marked & Beckham decided to try the Hollywood pass to someone on the right wing, possibly Neville, surprisingly in got cut-out, I was shouting all sorts of profanities at the tv. He never got a fair crack for England.

Slightly surprised, but pleased by this. Obviously he's a valued member of the squad & good to have around. He thoroughly deserves it.
