Another potentially decent thread ruined, never mind here's mine: Eng - Shilts Scot - Joe Jordan NI - Chris Nicholl or Colin Clarke Wal - Paul Jones Rep - Eamonn Collins, (would have been Townsend, but I've really gone off him since he became a pundit)

Special K gives some good advice here, the Party Wall Agreement is something I forgot to mention, although it shouldn't necessarily take very long, keep yout neighbours on side & informed & it could all be done with an exchange of letters. Everything you need is here, including proforma letters: https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/207310/Party_Wall_etc._Act_1996_-_Explanatory_Booklet.pdf

I'd be a bit careful with that, the example I looked (No. 19) seems to assume that no load is attracted from the roof, and assumes non-load bearing studwork at first floor, yet calls up a masonry wall.

The work will need to be sanctioned & inspected by Building Control (Building Regs) whether the tradesman is qualified or not, the exception being Electrics & replacement windows.
-
Your Architect will advise whether you need Planning approval (from what you describe, you may not as this may fall within your permitted building rights it'll depend on the relationship between the size of your existing property the new build). You'll will almost certainly need Building Reg approval, again your Architect will advise. What you've described sounds fairly straight forward & a more economic route would be to use an Engineer rather than an Architect. There are plenty of Engineers who can advise on the above & produce drawings to satisfy planning & Building Control doing the job a lots cheaper than an Architect/Engineer combo. If you need any further info pm me as I know just the chap for you.

Very funny & completely true, but they missed such classics as "on-me-'ed" & "square ball" or "squibble" as it's usually pronounced.

Post Match Reaction: Manchester United 1-1 SAINTS
Dimond Geezer replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
We need to do better against these mid-table teams if we are to progress to the Champions League. Well done Saints, sounded like a cracking display. -
Bloody 'ell. I was on my way within 30 minutes. I can see why you're so miserable.

I was neutered about 4 years ago, with no problems at all, in fact it was a pretty good decision. My boss however had terrible problems, couldn't sit down, when he did sit down, he couldn't stand, lots of bleeding, all pretty grim, on the other extreme a mate was done on the Friday & was playing footy on the Sunday.

I think the clearances he kicked into touch were supposed to go elsewhere.

The arrogance of the man is outstanding. He was even tapping up an assistant before he had the job.

I'd put him third behind Shilts & Niemi. I don't think he has the agility of Niemi, but he does have an intimidating physical presence. What lets him down is his distribution, it's no better then KD's (something which is overlooked by the KD detractors).

I've found 21 with Saints connections.

I don't think that's the case anymore. We usually take bottles of Coke in with us (£2 for 2, about half the price of one at St Mary's), and the Stewards doing the bag search have never had a problem with it.

Same for me, I got the letter yesterday, I actually used the discount a couple of weeks ago because I forgot to take my ST to the shop, which actually illustrates a good point; my credit card is always with me, my ST isn't, so there won't be any impulse buys as I pass the shop in future. With regards to using an image of the club crest on a DIY credit card, why not find a picture of St Marys taken from the front, this will show the crest.

I forwarded your question to a mate of mine who inherited a flat near Torremolinos, his advice was 'Learn the lingo'. The locals don't take kindly to Brits who insist on speaking English & will make little, or no effort to help out (and why should they?). It's taken him 4 years from scratch, but he's just done his A-level in Spanish, but he reckon it's saved him a small fortune, in translation fees alone, he's a lot more confident when dealing with the Authorities, tradesmen etc and they know they can't take advantage of him by exploiting the language barrier.

Cracking win, well played Saints.

My Mrs saw them (there were two) land at the General hospital, they had to make way for an emergency, possibly coming from the M3 crash, and hovered around the area whilst the Air Ambulance took up temporary residence.

It's for 4 hours & should you be unlucky enough to be trapped in a fire, you'll still get rescued as fires & major incidents will still be covered, however if you're trapped in a lift I suggest you take a flask & a sandwich, you could be waiting for the full 4 hours.
-
Possibly, but you'd have to be more determined. With a simple hand gun you can casually fire a couple rounds of in a second, that's two fatals in a second & from a safe distance. With any other weapon, lets's say a knife, you've got to be within striking distance & the kill rate would be a lot less.

It's an unfortunate reality that when something terrible happens with such regularity, it fails to shock anymore. RiP

SRL is on £38k pw, according to his (& Lallana's) banker, who happens to be a season ticket holder, and has a loose tongue.

You're supposedly the clever one, you work it out.
