  1. Yep. Quite bizarre. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/m/man_utd/9118602.stm
  2. Hopefully Wagner, purely because his dancers appear to enjoy a little booby action at the end of each of his sets. HTH
  3. Thanks for the replies, I guess it will be a pot of paint & a JPT flag. If this was to happen, the room wouldn't need decorating, on account of teenage son no longer being allowed to live with us.
  4. I’ve just broken the bank to stump up the fiver to start this thread, as I’m getting desperate, so I hope someone will be able to help. I’m about to start decorating my sons bedroom & I rashly promised him that he can have Saints wallpaper around the chimney breast, but I can’t find any anywhere. The megastore doesn't sell it & I can’t find any on the interweb. Does anyone know where I can get some? Alternatively does anyone have a spare roll lying around that is no longer needed, I probably only need 1 roll. Obviously I’m prepared to pay cold hard cash for it. Hopefully someone can help, or I will have a very disappointed 13 year old on my hands, who will never speak to me again (when I say “speak to” I mean grunt at).
  5. Obviously support will need to be provided for whatever is above, be it wall, floor, roof etc. This will need to be designed by a Structural Engineer & Building Regulation approval will need to be granted. DO NOT let the builder loose without making sure he has notified Building Control, and the work will be inspected by the Building Control Officer.
  6. When the pressure dropped in my boiler, it was because there was a leak in the system, fortunately under the (suspended) ground floor and no damage was done by the dripping water. It may not be as simple as re-filling the system.
  7. Just to complete the picture, The Belgrano was US built, originally known as the USS Pheonix & survived the attack on Pearl Harbour in 1941. She was sold to the Argies in the early '50s.
  8. I thought that, hence trawling through the small print, but I couldn't find any mention of an introductory offer, only that prices will increase in January, due to the VAT rise, although it doesn't say how much it will increase by. You're right about the BT line rental, but it's only £11 through Sky. I'll be looking at BT this afternoon.
  9. I'm currently with Pipex, who I'm currently getting bills from for about £35 pm (just bb & phone) . I received a flyer from Sky who are offering phone, tv & bband for £19 pm. Spent the morning reading through the small print (it's quite at work ) and looks to be good value fof money. If you apply on line you also get £25 voucher for M&S, handy for the lingerie dept with chrimbo coming up .
  10. Mr X. I couldn't give a nats chuff about yours, or anyone elses sexuality. If your gay, so be it, good luck to you. For those that are straight, good luck to them too. I don't have problem with peoples sexuality, whether it is the same as mine or different, and I can't believe that anyone in this day and age would. The one thing that makes me feel uneasy with is camp men, whether straight or gay. I know a camp man, he is classic camp; a hair-dresser, minces when walking & speaks like Julian Clarey. However he is definetly straight, he is married & one of his sons plays rugby with my son, but I still feel uncomfortable in his presence, dunno why really, it's probably more to do with me than him.
  11. Well done that man (or woman). Made I chuckle. Can anyone post the picture where the hand was used to support the flood lights.
  12. I was doing that on Saturday, when she walked from just in front of me to the Chapel goal. Had to explain the drool marks down my shirt to Mrs Geezer when I got in.
  13. Lifted - Lighthouse Family Theme From Shaft - Isacc Hayes Love on an Elevator -Aerosmith The Cave - Mumford & sons Leaving Home Aint Easy - Queen Save Me - Queen
  14. I thought that. But I seem to remember when Shilts was listed on the Panini sticker (or something) his height was stated as 6'0". Quite short for a keeper really - even back in the old 'un days.
  15. If he is charged, there must be enough evidence to say he did it, in which case he doesn't deserve good luck. Maybe the guy that got clobbered is more deserving of some good luck, like he is lucky to still have his sight, or lucky he is not scarred for life. (Assuming it was a glassing or bottling).
  16. If I remember & I haven't used up my last post of the day, I'll be there.
  17. They had a vid of Chaplow & he was only signed a day or 2 before. I miss the replays of the goals, which I don't think they've done since we were relegated from the prem.
  18. Close, but no cigar, It was Natwest.
  19. No they can't have him, he was at the Dell more often than he was at Bompey
  20. I have a 3 piece suite to get rid of. Creamy/whitey sort of colour. The arms on the chair are worn through, but I think the sofa is ok. If wanted your sis is welcome to all or part of it f-o-c. It will need collecting from Bitterne Park.
  21. There's another sacffolder in Southampton (RBS possibly) who's tag line is "make sure your next erection is in safe hands".
  22. That's gonna sting
  23. Turpins. It had a reputation as a 'cattle market', generally frequented by 'older' ladies (30 ish). It was a great place for a young man in his early 20's to go, as you were gauranteed to pull. Met my mrs there after going to see Debbie Harry at the Mayflower. She'd taken her mate there who 'lacked confidence', (the mrs, not Debs). Incidentally, the mrs was not of the older variety, at the time - she is now though. For those that don't know, Turpins later became Celebration Plaza, owned by our very own MLT & Mike Osman.
  24. Really? Where did he live? Big Chief I-Spy http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/I-Spy
  25. Danny LA Rue?
