Football League Paper: Player rumours - Howard and Bolasie
captainchris replied to Tac-tics's topic in The Saints
No, he is actually a knob............and looks like one! -
This post is very accurate. We cannot afford to give the ball away continually in Championship and that is precisely what he does far too often. As someone said, wouldn't be surprised if we brought someone in.....Butterfield is the better option if not...

What ever happens this next pre season HAS to be 1000% better organised than recent years. Playing non league teams in abundance as preparation for playing Championship football just will not wash and has proved to be nothing short of stupid. Sort out decent opposition for pre season and lets be very well prepared for the hard games coming up in the league we are in. Sorry Eastleigh, Farnborough, Salisbury, Some Swedish under 13 side, a bunch of part time Swedish lumberjacks and the Rose and Crown Sunday B team but we are now a professional outfit preparing for the 2nd tier of English professional league football and should playing teams of this ilk to prepare.

Huddersfield appreciation/respect thread
captainchris replied to southbourne saint's topic in The Saints
Who cares about ' technically' when it's irrelevant ! In reality and 'practically' we are definately up so why harp on about 'technically' ?????????????????? It's pointless!!!!! -
As predicted by just about everyone on here, he is not now getting in the Blackpool team - surprise surprise. Get shot - don't want to pay to watch that over rated self obsessed person again!

Brentford 0 - 3 Saints - Post Match Reaction
captainchris replied to Saint_clark's topic in The Saints
The guy on Solent was being pedantic-end off. I wouldn't mind but he just kept on and on and on. If we beat Plymouth we are up. Who gives a flying pig about a little 'p' on the league table. Are Hudds going to score about 16 or 17 goals in their last game - NO, so stop being a clever **** - what ever your name is and concede that we are up IF we win ! So immature and nausiating! -
Good on him......just beats watching saints but it's very close....hope he watches the wind shifts properly and wins.....

Brighton Doing Us A Favour On Saturday Beating Huddersfield...!?!
captainchris replied to dannysfc's topic in The Saints
Poyets already virtually stating they will loose - he is so bitter that throwing the game would not surprise me - if he did of course which I think he may do! -
Mostl of the Northam on sale for Wallsall + Block 1
captainchris replied to dune's topic in The Saints
Conceited arogance from block 42. This is not Man U plastic fans we are talking about here who don't even come from their home town, this is Southampton fans through and through who go to every game they can either afford or get time off work to attend or time from family commitments to attend so be nice to them and don't make stupid childish fools of your selves. As previous poster said - petty. Southampton does not need or require your so called support.... -
spot on.............

Who is more important Lallana or Chamberlain
captainchris replied to alki_in_korea's topic in The Saints
The consensus so far reflects the questions almost strangely uninformed nature.........no comparison - end of.......Can we have a question which may have alternative answers? -
Complete garbage will you try and keep a modicam of reality.......ok here's my complete fantasy............we loose 6.0 and keep the diamond formation till the 90th minute...... Udders win by a penalty conceded in their own half with 3 seconds remaining - rediculous just total carp and not worth typing - it's not even funny..........
-
Richardson is very prone to giving the ball away in all games I've seen him in - a bit of a weakness imo
-
What is this obsession with 'high profile'..........Who do Bournemouth have who is high profile - come to that MK Dons and Huddersfield and Exeter who punching above their weight. Quality yes - high profile not necessarily.........
-
Totally agree. I have yet to see Richardson complete two passes in a row to a saints player - Defending - If we have the ball the other team can't score - that's good defending! Plus DB reads the game better and is more aware..................
-
You talk about games in hand as guaranteed points on the board.....The team with the points on the board are Bournemouth not us.................

Question for the Negative-Thinkers after the Colchester result
captainchris replied to dune's topic in The Saints
This post is a joke right?................Nobody is looking for perfection but honest realistic assessment of the performances which have been worryingly unconvincing lately. Results are inconsistent due to a lack of playing strategy - if you think that is not true then show me results in last 5 weeks that disprove the inconsistency facts. We are hoping for the best in most matches which won't get us where we are supposed to be heading for....................................................This is a fact - not negativity or disloyalty - we are are not controlling games like we should be and it needs sorting or the inconsistent theme will persist...... -
Our was 'measured' for Adkins first two or three games but game by game it has become the exact same style as Pardew.....This is why we are inconsistant. Brighton pass, pass, pass and dominate nearly every game we don't! Result - inconsistancy - ala Pardew. I thought NA was brought in to sort this out but there is absolutely no difference between him and AP. The 'Southampton style' is not evident yet.........For ever sinse the excellent Tranmere game at home we have been noticably loosing the thread.......with loss of strategy.
-
Sorry, can you explain the relevance of this post?
-
What do you mean 'what' - it's a fair comment.....
-
You obviously haven't seen Richardson play or you wouldn't be resorting to putting him in. Retaining possession is our problem at the moment and that's one thing Richardson definitely cannot do! As I said before if Richardson is the answer what is the question?
-
No it was not a good night for us - we failed to take advantage of a rare opportunity to gain ground on teams around us - again! These opportunities do not come along every week! The performance was poor again - no getting away from it. We were really really poor against Carlisle and in the previous game to that etc- in fact we haven'y played well except for 60mins against ManU second 11 for a few weeks - this is turning out to be a recuring theme - this is the problem - it's not a one off at Hartlepool is more general than that....
