  1. Why are we talking as though Jason Euell is the saviour of Saints????????? Every time the ball comes to him it flies into the air six feet - he couldn't trap a packet of crisps,. God the way some fans get excited over a couple of clearances off the line!!! Whether he plays or not is neither here nor there - so much hype over a very very below average player!
  2. Total and utter gang culture populist moronic comment.. McGoldrick is actually quite skillful - the ball always sticks to him and he brings others into play. Tactics have left him marooned alone all season with no joining in from midfield. Please get a life and make a constructive comment about a player rather than you gutter press comic comments!
  3. Stop knocking MCgoldrick it's not his fault. He has good control and is strong on the ball. Ok not a world beater but quite a decent player. If you want to talk about very very poor players then lets talk Wotten for Christ's sake - now there is a very poor player indeed!!!!
  4. At last someone else has noticed Wotten is the worst player ever to wear a Saints shirt. It hasn't just happened either he has been since day one here. Rubbish is being kind. Any manager who picks him is not up to the task of managing a Saints team or anyone else. Poor passing, always has been, poor positional sense. no awareness, dirty and a liability - better off with ten men !!!!!!!!
  5. Kelvin was poor for both goals and one or two others recently......... He is quite a good reaction save keeper but that is it. His positioning for situations that develop over a few seconds is poor as is his dealing with crosses as we know!
  6. here here! well said
  7. please Wotton! Was lucky not to be sent off himself....... Just gets caught out all the time and then commits a foul often in dangerous positions. Why do people always mistake this for 'gives everything, was everywhere? He pass to one our players to save himself!
  8. This guy is even more clueless than portaloo it's just unbelievable truely gormless - utter crap uttererly out of this world it's so sh-te.....................Have turned the radio off - probably for a month!
  9. So are you saying Wotton is worthy of a place - please..............
  10. For God's sake, if Wotte picks a player of Wotton's calibre and can't see he couldn't make a Tyro league line up let alone a league two team what the hell hope have we got!!! It was a spitting image of Portaloo no presence out of our half at all and playing with ten men!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  11. This is very well put. Lowe should have had the bottle to sack the man and not taken a very cowardice approach to the situation. The man is definitely loosing it big time. As someone else said, Wotte just took a very strong reserve team to the mighty Millwall and lost 2.1 which should result in an inquest on it's own !!!!!!!!!! Wotte the f_ _ _ who bloody cares. If it was in a comic you wouldn't bother to read it it's so ridiculous.....
  12. This has to be the funniest most untrue post I have ever seen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ian Dowie - 'Bright and intelligent' ???????? I don't think so........................ Are you on a different planet?????????????? I know things are very bad BUT Ian Dowie - please !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  13. This sums up the season in a nut shell for me..........
  14. Have you actually watched Wotton ???????????????? OL with a broken leg is a better player !!!!!!!
  15. Were you watching games at different ground mate? Last year was ALL hit and hope. The football was long ball all season last year - you are deluding yourself to say different. This year is mostly good football but no end product or tall defender - the 'football' is actually more skillful and generally a much higher standard however our results have been lacking!
  16. How on earth you can turn that point into an anti Lowe slogan is beyond all belief - talk about bitter and twisted you moron. Pearce has been poor lately and certainly NOT a proven player at this level. Give the Lowe thing a rest for a minute mate and take stock of the real situation. The jury is most definately out on Pearce and we would plain stupid to sign him longer term until he has proven himself!!!!!!!!!!!! Get a life and talk logic and your posts might command more respect !!!!
  17. Such a soft goal, we still need to tuften up !
  18. BWP is the only player we have who makes runs in the box - pure and simple. Portvliet continues to tell us what is wrong and is by and large not too far adrift but continues to do absolutely nothing about it in terms of coaching this to the players.................
  19. Unless we have actually coached Robertson in how to play and put Llana next to him literally it is a waste of time! We must play the same we did at Reading with the two up front VERY CLOSE TOGETHER. Has portvliet not worked this out YET. I'm tired of his inability to recognise what works, how and why!....................
  20. As a previous Lowe suporter I am afraid to admit that yes this performance was an insult. Three of us from our family were there and we were all just flabergasted by the clueless performance. There now needs to be a radical change of direction. The defence is appauling - who is coaching this area????? At every set piece we either concede or are just about get away with it - we are shocking in this department. Who ever is coaching the defence shoud be sacked NOW. He is not doing a good enough job. Who picked Euell today - he was either not fit or playing so poorly should have been heaved off after 30 mins. McGoldrick whilst having neat control has no awareness of where the ball may go so is never in a scoring situation in the box - this will not change but he will not score he just does not have the awareness. Nobody is making runs in the box - NOBODY !!!!! After all this time if things as basic as this are not being sorted then they never will be. There is a lot of burying heads in sand going on at senior management level in this club and this is severly hampering any chance of progress. One massive difference between the two teams again today was size of players. We were just brushed aside by the much larger built Forest players today. You just have to be over 6' and fourteen stone to play in this league that is fundamental !

  22. What you half wits do not realise is, being judgemental and bitter that people did not come for Man U tickets they came bacause they cannot afford to come more often but they are actually loyal Saints fans trying to make ends meet with family priorities. Whilst you no doubt, are iether lucky enough to be a millionaire or quite wealthy. Yes some of these people will stretch to the Man U game but lets welcome them and applaud them for finding the money to attend. Let me assure you that this football club could not survive on your money alone mate. The team needs these extra 14,000 every game so we need to encourage them back or, you lucky wealthy ONE THIRD of the 32,000 of the people who would like to come every week will get what you deserve. You are not special people you are just a few random people who can afford to go when you like!! Calm down and embrace your fellow supporters or stay at home that's my advice!
  23. What a ridiculous comment. I cannot think why anyone would want to buy a membership at all. Why buy a right to buy a ticket when if it's not Man U you can buy a ticket anytime you want to.? And if your logic did make any sense at all it means you are in effect buying a ticket for a 50% premium price!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is just not justifiable. MEMBERSHIP SHOULD BE SCRAPPED - IT'S A RIP OFF.
  24. I dissagree with this comment. Players can and should be coached but the coaches - being 'football' people are often not up to the task. Kicking through the ball is a prime example, learning to kick with your week foot another and taking a long throw in is another. A proffesional footballer should be able to all these things and if he can't should be coached how to. The plain fact of the matter is the coaching of these basic skills is not there and one can only assume that coaches are incapable of teaching these skills. That is why it is best to bring in people from other sports who are much more aware of skills coaching. People within football are blind to the incredible failings of old fashioned doctrin. While i'm at it here's another old fallacy in football- giving up possesion to the team taking a throw in-this is completely unnessary but has always been taken as read in a football match.........'Football people' more often than not cannot coach!
  25. This is actually exactly what we did against Reading too. People said we played 4-4-2 but that is not really the case. All that was happening for the first half at Reading was DMG was very close to Robertson and then in the second was too deep and too far away from Robertson. This is becoming a very concerning pattern which is disturbing from the point of view of the coaches because it would appear iether, they are instructing this to happen or they cannot see it and correct it. When we don't have the ball by all means have DMG slightly deeper but as soon as we do have it DMG should be within 4 yards of Robertson........
