''If'' fit is the prob though, as we all know he won't last a season.
-
That's a bonus, although Ross Mcormack is pretty handy himself.
-
I can't see anything wrong with it either, a nice kit. Again - there isn't much you can do with red and white stripes is there? It's a bit of a change from the norm though and I like that. The people moaning are the same people that moan about everything else, so it's not much surprise.
-
Quite like it! Different from the norm, will buy it (not straight away)
-
The reveal will probably be some stupid time late tonight.
-
Will be a massive loss, not replaceable in the championship and we'd be alot weaker - but I'm not sure why he thinks he'll walk straight into a top 4 team. He will be a bench/reserve player for at least a year, I can't see how that benefits anyone. The best solution to all of this would be a loan back, because he'd still get the games here and he'd still get the move he wants.
-
To be fair to them, that's more to do with the feed they take from Solent, rather than anything they're doing wrong. They are reliant that the link stays up at the away ground etc (we'll hopefully not have that problem in the championship!)
-
you mentalist!
-
Let's not start that again
-
I think the lad is happy here, and he knows that he's one of our star names and to be fair next season will be one hell of a season. The league has never looked as good as it does now, so it's a great test for him and I'm glad we're in a position to dictate what happens. That, IMO, is more than enough proof that we are financially very sound.

It was once said that to stand a chance when you're promoted, you need to have at least 4 players that are capable of playing at the level above. Otherwise you'll need to spend millions. I say we have an entire team capable of playing at this level...which is much more than can be said about P'Boro and even Brighton to some extent. We've got more championship experience in our squad than both of those sides. And people also seem to forget...we are a newly promoted side too! To expect us to be competing with the likes of Leicester and West Ham straight away is a little naive. - but we've got more than enough to give it a good go, and that's all I ask for from next season really.
-
Passed his sell-by-date. No improvement to Jaidi in all honesty.

http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~2396237,00.html away kit this weekend too
-
lol very true... he'd be better off staying at a club pushing for the premiership, rather than making 5 or 6 sub apps in the premiership and lots of reserve games.
-
'' Qatar Investment Authority'' ah, says it all then. So murky.
-
Taraabt for £15m is mental though, totally mental. Who are PSG owned by now?
-
I'm pretty sure he made a quote very similar to that in January, so i's guess it's been rehashed to try and save the face of the people at the mirror.
-
That summed the show up really!
-
The programme it's self was pretty poor and a feeble attempt at trying to make any sort of point. I think what's got to people is the way we were mentioned, the presenter portrayed it as we were set-up and purchased using the name of someone who died. We all know that wasn't the case, so to use us as an example showed a really poor use of research. Lazy if you ask me.
-
Signed for AEK Athens i think
-
The way it was presented was that we were setup and purchased by a dead man, which is so poorly researched it beggers belif. It may not have been the way it was intended to come across, but come on....just a little research please.
-
Football is such a dodgy business and this sort of thing goes on much more than people realise. This is just like dipping your little toe into the water. As was said above, Leicester is quite clearly an investment vehicle with some powerful people with ''strong'' contacts. Yakubu on loan for e.g........ I'd be worried if i was their fans, I much prefer the way we're run. In the long run we'll be stronger.
-
Yep, and it was a vehicle to transfer the funds from the overseas account to a British based account to ensure transparency in the purchase of the football club. I'm still of the belief that a sizable ''trust fund'' sits in a UK account for the club to use and for NC to manage how he see's fit.
-
Bit of an odd post by him.
-
Wonder what NC will think of his comments...
