I think what ever happens he'll stay to the end of this season. I'm sure any prospective clubs will see it as the best option for him too, a chance to win lots of games, score goals and get a winners medal before joining a big club. He wouldn't benefit from moving in January as he's not really achieved anything yet - and he'd be a fool with rubbish advisor's if he does.

He will leave in the summer i'm sure of that, so it wouldn't surprise me if a deal is already agreed for then. Enjoy him whist he's here!

Recent weeks have seen Lambert start to return to the figure we remember so fondly from last year. I predict he'll have a storming 2nd half of the season now he's over his fitness and injury problems. As Ivan says above, all strikers have patches similar to Lambo. Drogba/Torres/Rooney are good examples of good players suffering due to injury/confidence/fitness etc. But as they say, class is permanent and he's still a very very good player at this level and more than capable of playing a level up.

As others have said, whatever level you're at you gain as many advantages as you can. If the oppo don't know about our team and we can suprise them, then good plan. It's not about us not being good enough either, it's just being clever and doing anything possible to get the win. Not sure what the issue is with this tbh. It's not like as fans we really need to know the team until it's on the pitch, if Adkins knows it and he's training them well then there is nothing to worry about.

I think he's a class player and a top signing, slow start as you'd expect from a player not used to the english game but he's slowly developing into one of our key men. His movement and touch at times is of a higher level. I reckon he could even do a job for a prem. team in the right environment.

Reading some stories today, it sounds like their board are considering funding a full on assault to get promotion this year. So what you say is very true.

If true Dalek, I'd be happy with that. Martin is a very good player and has already scored goals in the champ. too.
