    Flag update

so to confirm, all the thousands of pounds being spent for a flag that cannot be hung up in the ground and will have to be passed over people's heads?
  2. F8ck off you boring ****, there's no better buzz at football than a classic end of season pitch invasion. ON THE PITCH
  3. have you got a link? wouldnt mind having a look for a laugh

    Flag update

so to confirm, this will not be a flag to hang in the stadium but one you intend to pass over peoples heads?

    Flag update

just out of interest, where will this flag go? i've not read the other thread, but would it have a regular spot to hang from?
  6. in recent years... Norwich , Leeds, Man City, Forest?
  7. which is kind of the opposite arguement to what he was saying, if you can't afford to go in league one you certainly wont afford it in the prem, so you wouldn't be one of the extra fans he was referring to
  8. I would support an increased stadium in the hope that having more seats to fill will keep prices at a reasonable level (Wigan have some prem games for £15 tickets), rather than sell out each week and go down the London club route of £45 tickets (even clubs like Fulham and West Ham have been charging that)
  9. Doesn't fit in due to the legal case on the house situation
  10. I think this is a blatant conspiracy by the club as a "don't go on the pitch you will spoil our game tomorrow" f*ck that, get on the pitch at the end, promotion first time since 1978
  11. If this was a testimonial for a player then i could see it's purpose, but otherwise i can't really see the appeal, saturday will be the day for celebration, party atmosphere, beat Walsall and on the pitch at the end, that will do for me.
  12. Installment plan re-introduction should be done. I thnk they will get rid of the free under 8s season tickets. would be nice if we actually attempted to sell season tickets with some active marketing and fill the ground rather than last years dire effort, i had mates try and buy season tickets after the 1st game of the season only to be told they can't which is absolutely ridiculous.
  13. Best Oldham, Bournemouth, Brighton for me. Worst - Tranmere by an absolute mile, Rochdale was a good trip but poor game, MK Dons and Walsall both poor.
  14. we're going back up, with harry and jim, any saints fan who sang that should be ashamed it is so poor, at least a few decent slow version of oh when the saints got going at brentford and plymouth this weekend, but ruined with dreadful renditions of the stupid cortese song and the rubbish back from the dead david connelly song.
  15. Just to confirm, he defintely hates that back from the dead song and even told my mate he finds it offensive and is a shame we sing it as it is disrepectful to him. some of the efforts of humour from saints fans in songs are shocking, the connolly song is shlt, so is the lallana messi one.
  16. Going on the pitch without a doubt
  17. Interesting choice, back of block 2 not really good pitch invasion postion?
  18. it was the fences that killed at hillsborough. I've got a feeling if you turn up with cash in your pocket and no colours worth giving it a go trying to blag it as a Brentford fan, even nip into the club shop and buy the cheapest scarf they have, then try and buy a ticket, and throw the scarf away. If all else fails there is a pub on each corner of the ground to drink in during the game and you still get the day out.
  19. i went down to Brentford's ground during my lunchbreak today, being a good old school club they had the gates open , had a stroll round and with the permission of the cleaner sweeping the steps took the opportunity of a stroll around the corner of the pitch so technically could claim i've got in early and invaded it today, looks like a lovely surface for our passing game unlike last year
  20. Invading the pitch is one of the best feelings ever, 10 years ago we were all on the pitch when le tiss scored last min v arsenal, it is nothing new and anyone who simply doesn't understand the enjoyment to be had is probably a boring bastard. Hopefully we get on at Plymouth and the walsall game.
  21. I loved those hats, had a red saints one to that design but not a saints/rangers half and half one, wish they still did them now!!
  22. "Sorry to say there was also a bit of crowd trouble today, with a total of 20 arrests" Great old footage, the archers road terrace looks good when packed. Interesting cup run that year with Brighton away as well and Liverpool at white hart lane
  23. Rubbish game we were poor and just do not look like a promotion team, shlt support most saints sitting in complete silence, only bonus in the trip was another of the 92 ticked off.
  24. John smith what ever happened to 'no nonsense' like your adverts? You're clearly a bit mental with your hysterical ramblings at Steve.
  25. haha superb effort sir, take a bow!
