  1. Pellegrini. Done a superb job at clubs in La Liga comparable in size to us. Really don't want Flores or AVB.
  2. I don't know how it's going to turn out for Everton in the future, but his summary of us is difficult to argue with.
  3. Do you still have to go to the bottom of your garden for a sh*t?
  4. Neville Southall can't be discounted. He's looking particularly sharp these days.
  5. If Les is serious about the barnet of the new manager, David Armstrong must be near the top of his list.
  6. Simple then, Ron and the club tell Everton to f*ck off, and Ron signs a new contract. Doesn't matter to me who loses face behind the scenes, it would be best for the club and I reckon the supporters would be over the moon.
  7. You might be getting him mixed up with Kenny Lynch.
  8. Granted he's not young, but this might be a positive. Much less likely to be tempted elsewhere in a couple of years time. He has tons of European experience. Took 2 similar clubs in Villareal and Malaga into the last 4/8 of the Champions League. He wasn't good on the young player side at City, but that was probably more to do with club policy. He's obviously a good coach, has got players to over-achieve at smaller clubs. He also knows the Premier League well. Have I sold it to you?
  9. What attributes do you think we're looking for Charlie?
  10. The most iconic sportsperson ever. A true legend.
  11. You missed out him getting Villareal to the Champions League semi-finals as well. Would be perfect for us.
  12. Cant see it myself. Their new investor is worth less than Ms Liebherr. Can see this one ending in tears.
  13. I can't understand Koeman. On one hand, he wants us to demonstrate ambition by not selling our top players every Summer. A fair point that resonates with a lot of supporters beaten down over the past couple of Summers. On the other, he's going to Everton and the first thing he'll do is oversee the sales of Stones and Lukaku. But it really isn't a great job. It's an average one, with a players budget (net spend £40m) the same or maybe marginally bigger than most of the league. It can only be about wages.
  14. I respect that.
  15. Agreed, although slightly worrying that the club's future plans couldn't be sold to him.
  16. There's whole column missing from that table.
  17. You could be right. Pellegrini still my first choice.
  18. Chile looked brilliant in the World Cup. Don't know that much about him to be fair. I think AVB would be a poor appointment though.
  19. You're not alone mush.
  20. The tactics were truly awful. Why the f*ck is Kane taking corners? There is a chance that our manager is clueless.
  21. It's more to do with his style of football. Would rather watch a team of his than a team of AVB's.
  22. I would prefer Koeman over AVB, but not Pellegrini or Sampaoli.
  23. Cant see it. He took over Harry Redknapp's team that came 4th and made them worse. Sampaoli would be good.
  24. AVB is vastly overrated and has been sacked by 2 Premier clubs already. His style of football is negative, and he doesn't seem to get on with his players too well. Pellegrini got Villareal and Malaga into the Champions League. He p*sses all over AVB, who I reckon is a total charlatan. Think Ron would look a bit of a c*nt if he went to Everton. Think it would make Les look a bit of a c*nt as well. But he has been in this situation before and come up smelling of roses, so good luck to him.
  25. Wouldn't want Howe - only managed 1 season in the top level. Flores - seriously! Hate the way Watford play, had a poor second half of the season. De Boer - would just be waiting for him to move on. AVB - does good PowerPoint presentations, but is a sh*t manager. would want Emery - no chance of him coming here though. Pellegrini - knows the league, and seriously over-achieved at clubs in Spain similar in size to us.
