  1. I think Koeman will only play nippers if they're clearly better than the established players. Whereas I get the impression that Claude will look at the bigger picture & build for the future. It's hard to judge a player not in first team as non first team standard is poor. It took a leap of faith to chuck Stephens in ahead of Cuco or Ryan B at centre half. If Stephens was clearly better than other options Koeman would have played him, but I doubt he would of taken the chance without knowing whether he was. When you don't know if the nipper is good enough, but chuck him in on a hunch or to give him a chance to learn about him, is completely different to playing them when they're better than older players. 2. I'd be interested in Welsh polling numbers because they voted for Brexit and there's about a dozen Labour seats with a majority of less than 5,000. One report I read today was that the Tories were considering seats with 8,000 labour majorities as winnable across the UK. I guess it all depends on whether sitting MP's can hang on by highlighting the local work they've done and distancing themselves from Steptoe. I bet the last thing they want is him & Abbott on the tv day after day. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Comres poll tonight has Tories on 50% & that's with UKIP on 7% . Once the campaign is in full swing & May's UKIP Brexit is factored in, most of those votes will switch to Tory. Historically polls have also tended to underestimate Tory support . This is going to be a bloodbath unless May has the worst campaign ever seen in political history and even if she does, she'll still have a majority. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  8. The problem for labour moderates is the worst Corbyn does the easier it is for another extreme left candidate to replace him. The less MP's they have the less they'll need to go forward to the membership, a membership where head banging lefties are in the majority. Steptoe or McDonnall couldn't teach the threshold at the moment (which is why they want the % lowered) but if they lose 60/70 Mp's they probably could, especially as the ones they lose are likely to be moderates. I honestly think it's a win win for the nutty end of the party. Corbyn does better than expected , he stays. It's a bloodbath and he goes , but the numbers mean another head banger will go to the membership & we know what they'll do. Add to that the fact that lots of talent have jumped ship, and you're left with the party in a pretty sorry state, even if Steptoe goes . I bet the planks who nominated Steptoe just to broaden the debate are still kicking themselves , they are the ones who have brought this upon the party, them and that ****ing idiot Milliband who changed the rules. 10. They were awful yesterday as well. Andrew Neil totally destroyed Harpersons old man. The bloke today was just embarrassing, and this line that the election is May trying to rig democracy is just bizarre. How is having an election rigging democracy, especially when you voted for it. The problem they've got is that the half sensible half decent people they've got left, don't want to put their head above the parapet for Steptoe. Chucka couldn't even say that he thought Corbyn would make a good PM on This Week last night. They're left with head bangers like Abbott & second rate nobodies. Even Foot in '83 had some heavyweights batting for him, now they've either abandoned ship or are keeping their heads down. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. This is exactly what happened, there was never any intention of holding a referendum. It was going to be traded out during coalition talks. It did show how ukip didn't actually need MP's to influence policy. The fear of ukip costing them seats by either winning them outright or (more likely) splitting their vote , allowing lib dems or labour to win seats , made Cameron pledge a referendum. 12. I'd stop digging if I was you. May did not call an election to push through a Norway deal. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  15. People seem to struggle understanding the concept of taking back control of immigration. Perhaps they're so institutionalised & brain washed by EU membership they've missed the point entirely. It will be the British parliaments job to determine numbers and the British people's job to mandate that. Whether that means more immigration or less is entirely down to Britain. 16. The Tory manifesto will confirm no membership of the Internal market , no free movement of people, no ECJ influence over the uk and will pursue trade deals with the outside world . How on earth anyone can call that a "Norway deal" is beyond me. And I thought it was meant to be the Leave side that didn't understand the issues. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Does anybody think that number will move with more exposure for Steptoe, Abbott & McDonnell? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. You're deluded man if you really believe that pony. The Tories haven't been this popular since good old Mrs T. They're going to get in with an increased majority, no worries . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Going to be great to see the assorted snowflakes & lefties routed AGAIN. They're so out of touch with 21st century England Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. People should listen to The Times Game podcast this week in which Le Parisian's Julien Laurens talks about Puel. He says Saints fans should give him time, says Puel builds teams & builds them whilst having players sold , " it's what he does". Went on to add he's got an incredible will to win & determination , still mixes it with players in training even at 55. Said loads of players rave about him & his methods. Wasn't all positive, said he has a major failing in substituting players too early in game & also doesn't come across particularly well to supporters. Said that he will get it right given time . 21. Lol what a pile of pony . " Hard on for Gordon Brown" yeah that'll be me, new labour to the core. She's now going to ask for a mandate for her type of Brexit, thanks for backing up my point Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Nearly every single political discussion with labour, snp or lib dem politician ends up with them claiming she "hasn't got a mandate " . Were they wrong? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Nobody knows if A50 is reversible as it's never been triggered before. Legal opinion is divided & there is a court case scheduled in Dublin to test whether it is or not. Perhaps posters on here know more than the finest legal brains, but I doubt it. Not that it matters anyway, no party including the lib dumbs will go into this election promising to withdraw A50, they haven't got the balls to stick to their principles. There will be weasel words around The Single Market followed by a promise of another referendum on the outcome of negotiations. What ever happens the Tories & Labour will the policy of continuing with the process & they're the only parties that matter. The funniest thing about today is the lefties who have spent months complaining May hasn't got a mandate complaining that she's seeking one. With the threat of UKIP splitting their vote gone the Tories will be returned with an increased majority. Marginal Tory /Labour after marginal Tory / labour constituencies will fall to the Tories & any lib dumb revival will come at the expense of labour. The South West is an area where Tories might have been under pressure, but most of it was strongly for Brexit. The stronger Farron goes for remainers in labour held remain seats the more he'll insure the south west will stay Tory . Some people on here seem to think they'll be a shock & I agree with them. However, where I disagree is the nature of the shock. I think the Tories are going to absolutely smash this one, even winning 2 or 3 more seats in Scotland. They'll have their best result in Wales for years . They're headed for a 50 seat majority, minimum. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
