Corbyn's not saying he's changed his mind, he's trying to rewrite history. Claiming he's never met the IRA, claiming he was working towards the peace process. He wasn't, he wanted the IRA to win. There's quotes all over the Internet from Mo Mowlem to Neil Kinnock, The Guardian & ex IRA men condemning Corbyn. He even voted against the Anglo Irish agreement FFS, him trying to claim he played some sort of part in the eventual peace in NI is quite frankly insulting people's intelligence. As much as his supporters want it to go away, it's not going to. Maybe, just maybe, he may have got away with it had he fronted up and admitted it, and if it was just him. But with McDonnell & Abbott , 3 IRA apologists leading the party is pretty hard to sweep under the carpet. Especially when all 3 of them keep tying themselves in knots over it. I'll say one thing for Jezza, he's done a great job of convincing some mugs he's a different sort of politician, when the reality is, he's a career politician who puts getting into power above his long held principles. Exactly the same as all the rest of them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Provided they get a decent majority, the better Corbyn does the better for the Tories. Imagine the mayhem Abbott,Corbyn & other assorted loons will cause if they stay on. Surely it's got to be the moderates worst nightmare, Corbyn staying on Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Saints Transfers Thread - Deadline Day

If they could get Andy Carroll on the pitch him & Tadic could link up well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Which time were we lucky to play them? I suppose Koeman was unlucky to play them in the quarter final the year before. We played them 4 times spread over the whole season & they didn't beat us once, not only that but they didn't score a single goal (boring, Klopp out). They finished 4th & along the way battered a couple of sides. What is your obsession with doing Puel down over everything. It shows a lack of class to make out everything was poor or lucky. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'd have thought making things up was the last resort of the defeated. Correct me if I'm wrong but I seem to think the semi final was 2 legs. The first of which we absolutely battered them. If anyone was hanging on, it was them. That team that "everybody figured out how to beat", how did they end up. That was in Jan, I presume the last 4 months of the season was a struggle for them, because everybody had figured them out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Why? If he's not playing for us, does it really matter where he goes? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

There, but for the grace of Les .....

8th isn't underachieving. How many times in the past 100 years have we finished 8th or higher? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

What lefties don't seem to grasp is that Corbyn lied. I thought he was a different sort of politician, I thought he was supposed to be Honest Jez. When put under pressure by Andrew Neil he said "I never met the IRA". This is when people tend to lie, when they're under pressure. Whether Douglas Hurd, Maggie Thatcher, The Queen or Eddie Large met the IRA is irrelevant. Corbyn met them and now lies about it. Very Trump like behaviour, saying something blatantly untrue hoping it will go away. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

But did she deny she'd ever met him? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I have one log in & I certainly aren't trolling. It's called having an opinion an airing that opinion. It is an honest opinion, but I don't get where this "really rate him" line came from as I've never said I "really rate him". For the benefit of doubt and to stop you putting words into my mouth this is my view. He's done a decent job in difficult circumstances & with the players he's been given. I don't think Ronald Koeman would have done a better job, had he not left. I think the football could be better but I'm encouraged by the development of some young players and his willingness to trust them. I thought beating Liverpool over 2 legs without Austin or VvD was a fantastic achievement and one of the best tactical displays I've seen from any Saints manager. Here is the most important bit; I do not think he deserves the sack after one season, I was critical of Koeman, Poch and certain players for using us and being disloyal, so practise what I preach. Loyalty is a 2 way street, I want it from players & mangers and I'll give it to players & managers. IF there is no improvement in results/performances by the middle of next season, then it maybe time to look again. I don't particularly rate him, or not rate him, I just think he deserves the benefit of the doubt. I would rather have Claude Puel as manager than somebody using this club as a stepping stone to bigger and better things , who will depart the first offer he gets. Oh,and just to add, I have a ST & do about 10 aways a season, as i notice that the pro Puel gang " must" miss more games than the Puel out bods. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

What are you waffling on about? It was a very simple point. Did he meet the IRA, he said he didn't. You clarified this denial by stating that "didn't meet" actually means didn't get involved with planning their bombing operations. It's got nothing to do with the pony you wrote. Ok, that must be it. Silly me, I thought the words " I didn't meet the IRA" meant he didn't meet them. I didn't realise that it actually means he didn't plan a bombing campaign with them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

What he's "blithering" about is Corbyn's claim in the Andrew Neil interview that he'd never met the IRA. Whether he was being disingenuous or lying depends on your political persuasion Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I don't understand his answer about funding nationalisation of water companies ," How much will you borrow?" His answer was "None, I'll issue bonds". Isn't that debt? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Corbyn started ok with Neil, but floundering now when it comes to NATO & nuclear weapons. He is not answering & being evasive. The supporters will love it but won't shift one single floating voter Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Nope it's still as bonkers as it was when you wrote it. Narrowing of the polls suits May & The Tories. It'll concentrate the minds of the voters. If you can say "vote for us or you'll get Steptoe" & people believe it, that's perfect. It'll stop people voting to keep the majority down. I think Corbyn will rack up votes in metropolitan liberal areas, but the marginals will all go blue. The perfect result for Tories is a massive majority but Steptoe gets a higher % of the vote than Milliband did. He may get to stay on Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
