  1. It's the hardest outfield position for an inexperienced player to play. It's really hard to gain any experience because it's very rare you'll get off the bench if you're back up. It's also hard to come into the odd game here and there, so this run of games will do him the world of good. Ideally he'd have a keeper & centre back partner that actually talked to him and helped him, and to me they both appear very quiet. It's an ideal opportunity for him to learn and develop and also sends out a powerful message to other youngsters at the club & thinking of joining. It's a win/win, he'll get experience & Puel gets to see if he's got something. I've no doubt the ones calling for him to be dropped and replaced by a hired gun passing through, will be the same ones calling him judas if he leaves after becoming a good player. 2. They're a good side at home, haven't been beat since we did it last season,so I don't know what people expect. First half, pretty average. Better second. Bertrand had a funny game, looked a bit out of sorts as was Davo. Cedric played well, Redmond ok before fading & OR looked his normal self second half after a shocking first half . Tadic & JWP anonymous 90% of the time. Don't get the criticism of long, he was just long. He affected the game after coming on , unlike Boufal who was woeful. He's trying too hard . 3. I'm sure there will be plenty of criticism tonight as he seems to have inherited the scapegoat title. Calls for him to be dropped and replaced by our new international & for him to go on loan somewhere. He really wasn't as bad as some made out. Him & Yoshida had no protection first half as the side were poor. When the experienced players stepped up second half , he looked a lot better. His long term development would have been enhanced by today, working through a tough day is a major part of developing as a player. He also played against a system he's not used to, with Son not really playing as you'd expect a centre forward to. Since coming into the side, he's played in a semi final , a final , played against an old fashioned bully at Watford, a smaller striker in Defoe and now a different type today . It's all a learning curve. It took Yoshida 2 years to get used to the premier league & he's an international , yet we expect Stephens to be on it straight away. I say leave him in & let him learn, let him develop and let Puel coach him and work with him. Maybe it could pay off and produce a decent centre half. How is throwing a foreign mercenary in really going to help the long term future of the club? The premier league is where you learn about the premier league, not the championship. The experience he's gaining, good and bad, could be the making of him. Let's not throw him overboard when the going gets tough. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. No mention in here of Stephens great challenge after Yoshidas poor header Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Souness blaming Bertrand for first goal. Note, not FF or our centre halves or Davis Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. We've no leaders anywhere, we're like little boys. England international goalkeeper , doesn't say a word. Yoshida,Davis are experienced internationals, don't lead , same with OR. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Plenty wrong with it. Should have been drilled it, could of hit anyone on the way in or gone straight in. What's the keepers worst nightmare, a ball whipped in or fanny around on the edge of the box. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. It's men against boys in the midfield , and people wonder why the centre backs are struggling . They're getting no protection at all Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. And Tadic Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. It was OR & Cedric that cocked up the defending before the foul by Davis, nothing to do with the centre halves Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Has FF ever saved a pen Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I wish they'd shut the **** up about Stoke . Anyone would think they're the first team to score a few goals at home to a mid table team Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Here's a clip from said documentary where he jams with Keith Richards and gives him "advice". Richards looks like he's going to chin him. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  15. John Lennon once said if they rename rock n roll they can call it Chuck Berry. One of the greats, that made rock music what we know and love. Simple lyrics that just worked and great riffs. A miserable tight sod, but man what a talent Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  17. If they line up like they did today we will pass them to death. As poor as Swansea were they outnumbered them in midfield plenty of times, especially in the first half. If they come to SMS and play 2 up top,we'll murder them now we've got an end product Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  19. It's pretty hard to get on in Chicago politics unless you are, so I'd imagine he's pretty good at it. Either way, corrupt or not, he was a lousy president. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  22. Wasn't a joke , stating a fact. Merkal was wire tapped under Obama, is it so unlikely that they'd have look at Trump? If they're listening in on Obama's friends chances are they'd be listening in on potential president. I realise the snowflakes think St Obama is whiter than white ( and that's not a joke either, pal!!!!) but some of us realise exactly what a useless corrupt politician he is. 25. Messing around on Google & found a Utd forum that claims their 2 TBC games will be April 25/26 & May 16/17.One is us the other is City. I guess the police & Sky will have a say on which is which , but my guess is Sky won't want the City game in the last week of the season when chances are neither will have anything to play for.
