Yes. Saints fan but Exeter is my home town. P.S. They stuff your suggestion Peter Taylor's every time they play them - he managed Stevenage before Wycombe.
-
Yes, he is intelligent, articulate and innovative and Exeter City play excellent football. I think if we aren't going to go for a "big name bums on seats manager" then he would be the perfect choice. HTH

Don't like it at all, just looks wrong, colours don't go together, top yellow bit looks like an afterthought. Really bad, I hope we are on a 1 season policy with it.
-
I agree with all of that. As sorry as I felt for DJ, I remember being relieved he had gone especially having witnessed first hand a 5-0 debacle at Newcastle a couple of weeks before.
-
I would be doubtful, he is pretty seriously ill at the moment with cancer. Last time I saw him was on Sky a couple of months ago and he looked very frail then.
-
Well its all about opinions....didn't you say a couple of days ago that Peter Taylor would be a good option? Best see if you can borrow the crayons....
-
But Pearson has a proven record of getting a team out of this division - I don't see why his record against Wotte is relevant.
-
I think we probably need 9 players if we are going to make a go of it this season. The majority of the players on show so far are not ready for the first team. There are plenty of good, experienced (not old) free transfers out there at the moment.
-
Article is clearly planted via his agent's journalist mate with the intention of letting people know JFH wants to get back into football. Never going to be our manager.
-
But they are only meaningless if the players want them to be - this squad appears to lack any sort of heart and committment - we need a group of players that treat a friendly like the world cup final, a group of players who have some hunger and desire.
-
Excellent start, just wait for the rush when the big name manager and signings start rolling in

I have always had a good experience in any dealings I have had with the Ticket Office and David Luker in particular. Despite the various debacles going on around them on and off the pitch over the past fews years the Ticket Office have consistently shown how things should be done and made me feel valued as a customer. Lets hope the rest of the club is sorted out from top to bottom.
-
Has anyone asked the Ticket Office how many ST's sold so far?
-
If the Megastore marketeers have got any sense they will get a bucket load of Swiss flags in with the Saints crest in the middle.
-
I agree.

I've got CreditSafe up. I am pretty sure that the Gillico Ltd company is nothing to do with with it.
-
Just the sort of player we should be signing.

5 weeks ago I didn't think it was physically possible for Friday's to be less productive (or most other days for that matter).
-
I wish Solent or SSN would just ask him "Is anything going to happen today or not?". I need to know whether to bother getting too involved in work related matters.

Perhaps we should hold a trialists trial to see if they can become trialists? Quite a few clubs do it, get in 20 odd at a time and see if any stand out. There must be hundreds of players out of work and I do agree with the other part of your post, Saints are a club that many players would love to come to. You may not drop down a division for Exeter, Yeovil etc but for Leeds, Saints, Norwich etc then I think we have a good chance of getting players of a calibre better than League 1. (Once everything is sorted out takeover-wise)
-
Exactly, the point of a trial is that it's errr...a trial. If he is useless we won't sign him - simple. If we gave him a 3 year contract on 10k a week without seeing him now that would be worth moaning about.

Newcastle made an offer for Claus the summer we got relegated. We turned it down.

"If we score another one we will go above Wolves" My Dad on November 19th 2005 at approximately 4.30pm and with Southampton leading Leeds 3-0 at SMS. We all know what happened next. Honourable mention also to him for "Don't let Beattie take it, he can't shoot" as he steps up to take a free-kick against Chelsea in last minute at The Dell. It flew into the top corner.

Actually I think you are right, as is Poke I believe - Forecast is on some long term 5 year contract as well I seem to recall.
