Interesting selection dilemma for Saturday then. An obvious alternative is to play Stephens with Chaplow and Hammond and stick Lallana at the top of a diamond. Alternatively you could move Lallana to the right and play N'Guessan or Forte on the left, or play Guly on the right. Whatever happens, we will still have a strong 11 and a good bench so no reason to panic.

If Chamberlain is out it doesn't necessarily mean we have no options on the right. First, Lallana can play there no problems and Forte/N'Guessan can play on the left. Second, we can play with three midfielders and someone in the hole - particularly now we have signed Stephens. Third, Guly or even Richardson could play on the right. It's a shame if true but shouldn't prevent us from winning the games we need to win to go up.
