Anyone who still believes we play "attractive" football or "the best football for years" has serious perception problems IMO. It is clear that we will be relegated if we do not change manager.

This is the crux for me. The "pretty football" myth has died another death today.

Uninspiring drudgery yet again. No game plan. No precision. No presence. No touch. No creativity. The ref didn't help but let's not pretend United broke into a sweat. Perry and Davis kept the score below 5.

I really don't think we have. We have been completely pointless again. It's uninspiring drudgery. United have been playing at about 50% since the second goal and we've been awful. We had one good chance from Smith's run. That is it.

No complaints about being outplayed and I'm not having a go at the players who no doubt are trying, just aren't very good - it's the management that really ****es me off. Utterly clueless. We could do a few simple things that would help us out immensely but we don't we persevere with football that produces no chances at home. How much more did the Liverpool team cost than the Preston team? The Man City team than the Forest team etc..... We just have no idea how to pressurise other teams or to play effective football. EDIT - I realise Preston lost, not sure why I referred to them really?!

TBH, if the same person who has been in charge of our transfers thus far this season (whoever that is) is in charge then I couldn't care less and will start deciding which League 1 grounds I wish to visit.

Kind of backs up the suggestion that they have not made a positive impact doesn't it? And this at a time where we have no money - you'd think we would want to strengthen the first team not fill the squad with pointless players. Then again, we have morons in charge.

I watched Forest in League 1 a few times as I was living there at the time. They, like everyone else, played "hoofball". I can't see them being that bothered if they stay up.

This is quite right and whilst we had no direct control over what happened to him it is a pathetic endictment that Watford are considered the better option. Maybe our set-up is just a tad too Revolutionary ™.

Is it really though? What is the point in having an entity that exists solely to continue to exist? Things can never improve with the current set-up. Frankly I reckon we'd have finished higher this year with a 10 point penalty and a better manager. We would only have to have beaten 3 of Blackpool, Barnsley, Bristol City, Watford, Sheff Wednesday at home to be in roughly the same position as we are now.
