I was saying the same thing about AA when we were on our way down. Many were saying he was crap (which is true at the PL level) and we should get rid of him. It doesn't make sense to do that when the player could perform well in the Championship.
-
I don’t disagree with any of that. But you gave the impression promotion was a certainty. With Juric I think we’d have a good chance. But not if he leaves and Rasmus gets a chance to make another of his idiotic appointments.
-
I admire your optimism.
-
Normally that would be true. But ....

So I logged on this morning and saw that this thread had added 3-4 new pages. Excitedly I clicked on it, praying that is was because Dragan had given Rasmus a one-way ticket to Turkey and told him not to come back. Then I saw the first @Matthew Le God post, then the second, and by the third the real reason dawned on me and my hopes were dashed.
-
I one third agree with that: there are far worse owners than the Dragan part of SR, who despite his terrible choice in partners has at least opened up his cheque book. But the other two thirds of SR are the worst owners possible, absolute charlatans and frauds.
-
Lol! Who wrote that crap, Rasmus? https://www.brentfordfc.com/en/news/article/thomas-frank-joins-coaching-staff_65139
-
How many times do we need to finish bottom of the league / get relegated for you to believe Rasmus and SR might be the issue?

Stats of SR purchases of "forward" players.

Whenever I see that f*cking picture...... -
And don't forget they (Ankersen) also chose Jones, Selles and Martin.
-
I look forward to your weekly match predictions next season!
-
I certainly agree about A). But regarding B): yep, can't argue with that either.
-
I can. He's probably getting more of our money sitting on his arse than he would working at WBA. Thank you Ankersen, you moron.
-
Chin up. Americans know how to cook some bloody good steaks.

If Musk took over the NHS he'd take care of the waste by transferring it to his bank account. He's only worth $350 billion. He needs at least a trillion to retire comfortably (on Mars).
-
He should’ve been sacked after the Bournemouth horror show. Cortese would’ve sacked him after the Newcastle match. Maybe even before it.
-
Speak for yourself. My family aren’t hypocrites. They don’t pretend to like the slop I serve up.
-
I know an idiot who defended both Jones and Martin until the bitter end. I won't mention names, but he's a real arsehole.
-
Should've read "the company confirms it's intended future activities are awful"
-
It's highly unlikely to happen, but it would be a bad news for us if City were demoted, as that would leave only 2 promotion spots in the Championship next season.
-
Corrected it for you. Anyone in charge with more than one brain cell would've sacked RM after the Bournemouth debacle. As it was, he kept him on way past the point of no return, and if reports are true would've kept him on after the Spurs disaster but for Dragan's intervention.

Lavia was injured for most of it wasn't he?
-
That's a bit surprising, has he really played at least 4 games to pick up 4 yellows? Or maybe he got a one or two for swearing at the ref from the stands?
-
Glad they listened to me about the contract. About bloody time. 😉 I'm sure the contract for Juric also has a big survival bonus as described above. They couldn't get Potter, but did get someone with a top flight experience. Definitely not another Ankersen brain dead moronic choice. I approve of Juric. It may not work out, but if it doesn't I won't blame SR/Ankersen this time (but of course will continue to blame them for the absolute shit decisions prior).

Scar tissue from the previous manager.
