  1. Ok, let them come up with "Oh when the Spurs go marching in" earlier than this.
  2. You got one bite, so I'll be generous: 1.5/10
  3. If hitting the woodwork was counted as a goal we would've drawn 4-4.
  4. I don't think someone who took us from 8th to 17th would deserve any credit for keeping us up.
  5. Very true, some just can't stop blaming him, and refuse to admit they were wrong. One day they'll see the light and be much happier for it.
  6. 8th and a cup final is asking a lot, but I'd be delighted.
  7. Wigley, Saggy, and Bassett/Wise was a long time ago, so I don't think they have much bearing on RH's job.
  8. True. Same reason why they shouldn't have sold Tadic.
  9. 1. Not get relegated.
  10. Hopefully RH will be a success, and I'm quietly optimistic. If he isn't, or gets prised away by a bigger club, the good news is that Pearson appears to be interested.
  11. Well at least we are in agreement that Puel is a million times better than Pellegrino and Hughes.
  12. Until the striker gets injured/suspended.
  13. I don't think he's going to lose much sleep about it. After trousering an estimated £18 million for 4 sackings he's set for life. Nice (lack of) work if you can get it.
  14. Corrected for you.
  15. Yes, the Skates would be good.
  16. Take it to SMS pronto, and unfurl and hang it there. Then they will give you all the credit tomorrow.
  17. Because he's still ours, and if he can score a few we may be able to find some sucker to buy him, with luck for about half what we paid.
  18. I doubt the release fees for a manager from the Belgian second division is much more than a packet of crisps.
  19. If it's "3 CBs again" doesn't that mean he's sticking with the same formation? Anyway, in fairness to him changing it from Fulham and earlier, it's not unreasonable to change formation from playing the bottom team to a CL level team. 3 CBs may work against a top team, but wasted against ones at our level (the Burnley game being a good example).
  20. Agreed.
  21. The similarity is over the type of managers being appointed, in particular the sequence. If you're going to nitpick about other reasons why "completely not like each other the two periods are", fill your boots.
  22. Very true. Sacked a decent manager (Luggy/Puel) because of the prima donnas in the squad. Replaced him with a disaster (Wigley/the Clown), and then in panic replaced him with an appalling dinosaur (Saggy/Hughes).
  23. I was thinking of this season... https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/34056532
  24. Wild guess, you're skint because of bad bets?
