  1. Shit. 2-0 the most dangerous lead.
  2. Shame Targett going off. He was playing really well, some nice balls into the box. On comes Cedric. That's the end of good balls into the box.
  3. Good so far. Boys playing well.
  4. So they had a good defense then.
  5. Have you seen the Elyounoussi thread?
  6. I think the phrase "stealing a living" comes to mind.
  7. Tadic may have had some feeble penalties, but the goalie always had to make the save. Missing the goal completely with a penalty is unforgivable.
  8. What are the odds for Nugent to get the winning penalty?
  9. Anticipating a header by one of the 5 offside players. How were they not interfering?
  10. Or spent big on a striker with any other name.
  11. Interesting article from bbc that we're not the only ones desperate for a striker. Pretty pathetic for the richest league in the world. https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/46822889
  12. Corrected for you.
  13. Yes, an interesting snippet. Cheers.
  14. That's true, he certainly wasn't perfect, and he left at the right time. But overall he was great for us, and I will always be grateful for his massive role in our rise from the ashes.
  15. Staplewood: £40m, still standing. The Donkey, Boufal, Hoedt, Elyounoussi = £66m (+ wages) + Forsters contract, Puel, Clown and Hughes payoffs = £??m You be the judge. Basically the Staplewood overspend (£24m?) was just over one Donkey.
  16. Agreed.
  17. Sad to read some of the hate for him here. Without him there would've been no Markus, and we'd probably be still wallowing in the depths below with the bottom feeders, along with the skates. Or worse.
  18. Didn't stop the skates gloating when they beat us when we were in division 3 and they were in the top league (with illegal mercenaries). I 4-1 would thoroughly enjoy us giving them a good rogering if we both get through to round 5 and meet each other.
  19. That may be true, but do we want to risk him getting injured (or red carded)? Derby have been known to be dirty.
  20. I don't think he'll get sacked this season, but maybe next.
  21. Hopefully they'll credit it to him, it would be good for his confidence. And take that 279 day monkey off his back.
  22. Did very well today, as did all 3 CBs. Major factor is Romeu back to his awesome best in front of them, which itself is due to again having a good manager (which we haven't had for 1.5 seasons).
  23. Like watching doctor who when you’re a kid
