  1. Brilliant winding up by JWP. Good lad!
  2. Romeu a second yellow waiting to happen.
  3. Hoedt is the only one who was deadwood. The others are all capable backups until better players are brought in (Cedric and Gabbi in particular, where we are thin in those positions).
  4. I don't remember anyone complaining about him being offloaded (apart from himself).
  5. Subbed at HT, with the experience of Cedric to come on for the second half.
  6. Only 15 matches left. I'm sure Cedric wouldn't have kicked up a fuss being told he'd be a backup until the summer, and would be free to leave then.
  7. We've only got rid of 4 so far, so I'm a bit nervous. I reckon couple more out (Austin and Bertrand) and we'll be safe.
  8. Like not loaning out experienced back up players without first being sure of having replacements lined up?
  9. Corrected for you.
  10. Exactly. And Ramsey at RB if Valery gets injured/suspended (again). But that's ok, think of all the wages we're saving by loaning out Cedric for a couple of months.
  11. Errr no, it's weakening our bench.
  12. He's the world's greatest trophyless manager. No wonder Real Madrid have him lined up. Any day now.
  13. Corrected for you.
  14. This. If he is replaced with someone better, all is well. If we'd got a good fee in a permanent move, even without a replacement, I could see the logic (although a risky move). 3 points above relegation and loaning him out without any replacement is madness.
  15. Depends. Yes, if the club brings in a quality striker and RB; most of us will be happy with that. If no replacements are brought in, it's a stupid gamble to save peanuts.
  16. One of each, surely. Anything less, and I'm going to be very upset and probably throw something across the room.
  17. Agree with all of that.
  18. Brilliant manager that MoPo.
  19. The best bet is to sell and buy a replacement at exactly the same time. Just like a hostage swap situation.
  20. Why? Flying in small planes is a common event. These are examples of needless deaths that could have been avoided: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Free_solo_climbing#Notable_accidents
  21. https://southamptonfc.com/news/2017-07-19/fraser-forster-new-southampton-five-year-contract-announcement Vice Chairman (Football) Les Reed said: “We are extremely pleased to have strengthened our commitment with Fraser, who has been an integral part of our team over the past three seasons. “He has already established himself as one of the leading keepers in the Premier League and, at 29, we believe he still has his best years ahead of him, not just for us but also the national team. “This is the ideal place for him to continue his progress, under the guidance of our Head of Goalkeeping, Dave Watson, and we are delighted that Fraser continues to see his long-term future at Southampton.”
  22. Its Paul Mitchell software desperately needs updating.
