This. If he is replaced with someone better, all is well. If we'd got a good fee in a permanent move, even without a replacement, I could see the logic (although a risky move). 3 points above relegation and loaning him out without any replacement is madness.

Depends. Yes, if the club brings in a quality striker and RB; most of us will be happy with that. If no replacements are brought in, it's a stupid gamble to save peanuts.

The best bet is to sell and buy a replacement at exactly the same time. Just like a hostage swap situation.
