Yellow cards no longer apply to separate competitions, whereas straight reds do. But no-one seems to know if a sending off for 2 yellows crosses competitions or not. On the Total Saints podcast Adam Leitch thought he would've served it tonight, but he didn't sound totally convinced.

And I would argue that MP has a better squad (or at least first 11), one of the best Spurs have had for decades. He's a decent but no means world class manager. JM on the other hand is world class in winning trophies, whining, and getting the sack (and massive payoff) when he decides he wants off.

Thanks to Markus. Relegation 15 years ago was a disaster. Relegation now would be a catastrophe, and for most clubs. I envy sports teams here in the USA. No relegation to ever worry about, and if they're shit one year they get top draft picks as a reward. (It does mean though that teams like the San Diego Padres are content to be shit forever.)
