  1. 1) That makes me nervous when the likes of Sainsbury's and LIDL are on the lookout of somewhere to build huge warehouses. Chains like these and Tesco are doing incredible business during this crisis and are leading employers where others are still reducing personnel. 2) Is there anyway seeing we'll be in League One that one stand at the stadium could be closed to allow and supermarket or warehouse to be constructed and then the stand rebuild above the property? I have artovisions of a ground share and development of Eastleigh Football Club. 3) Astrologically speaking we are truly in the midst of a 3 week period of hold ups, unforseen delays and screw ups in communications. Not the ideal time to begin any new projects, sign deals etc until after the 31st May when things will start moving. Better still after the New Moon on 7th July. Should we get a deal now and they haven't done their homework, it could be doomed to failure at a later date. 4) I am reliably assured that we are part of a Jewish Armenian Lebanese Scots consortium's bid so why worry about Irish connections . Afterall, NORM is Irish and I've found him very reliable. Why, he can even turn tap water into neat Malt!!!
  2. Worse of all is if we'd have to ground share with Skates or Cherries like Palace had to do that year with arch rivals. Knowing our fate that is just what's going to happen. 44 days is nothing where Administration is concerned. How long did Leicester wait to get a deal done?
  3. The story is just a rehash of old stories. nothing new at all.The only time they put up anything is when someoneonthis board posts socallednew ITK rumours. The laziest of journalists.:smt093
  4. Ha! I can just see the Media headlines in the coming days after Fry has announced a deal "OVER DEMANDING AND WHINGING MESSAGE BOARD POSTERS UPSET SUCCESSFUL BIDDER RESULTING IN WITHDRAWAL OF BID" :axe::smt093
  5. Why don't people just look at the other clubs who went into Administration and how long it took for a deal to come to fruitation. 3 months, 6 months,?? We're talking about less than 3 weeks since Marc Fry began working on sorting things out. All got themselves into a frenzy due to his talk of us not having much time to keep the Club itself afloat. Sadly, the majority have given up on all action to raise sufficient funds to keep going due to all the stupidity of false ITK's and optimists who think the takeover is a done thing. Probably the first news we can hope for is that the council have agreed to buy out the Stadium. After certain relegation to League One I can believe this is the major stumbling point. Why aren't folk pressurising the Council to do the right thing. Are they waiting for the local and European elections before coming to a decision? Laurie's All Star Match is going to be far more necessary than anyone posting on here realises. He's not my favorite cup of tea these days, but at least someone does realise how touch and go the situation is. There will be no news before that game and very likely none before the end of this month.
  6. Somehow, Jackson appears to be a stooge being used by Begbies or other parties to get bids moving, just as he messed things about down at Bournemouth. Like Duncan I've reservations seeing how Begbie's haven't been put off by Jackson's previous behavior. Not a pretty picture but I think no one other than Fry actually knows what's going on. It's early days and these things can and often gone on for months. I only hope somehow, somewhere that someone is prepared to foot the clubs operating overheads till someone is finally chosen and we don't end up receiving further points deductions.

There was a time when Admins were Admins and people posting wind up rumours would be banned. In our hour of need for the club, it's pathetic how absolutely nothing is done to maintain a minimum level of quality on the main board. Very sad.
  8. That's quite a relief to hear and I too wish Kyle all the best for the future. When I read the other day that he'd returned to the States I had visions of him ending up in California working with the now famous ex Academy lad Danny Mountain!! Even worse I could see Master Bates heading off there too as his manager!!
  9. Pressure increasing on our friends at West Ham. Looking very bad indeed. http://www.sportinglife.com/football/news/story_get.cgi?STORY_NAME=soccer/09/05/06/SOCCER_West_Ham_Gudmundsson.html&TEAMHD=soccer
  10. Well, as we all wait for the decisions seems yet another League side is going into Administration and possible oblivion. If things don't work out for us could see us taking their place in the Blue League. Not a nice thought so hope Mister Fry has better news pretty quickly. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/teams/c/chester/8034470.stm
  11. If it's any consolation to those worrying about the time scale, Nigel Pearson wasn't appointed at Leicester till June the 20th last year. He had one almightly job to face and I think we all agree did an incredible one too. Players usually don't have to report until the beginning of July and I recall Kevin Davis sunning himself all summer before winnning a contract and signing up for Bolton. I appreciate the optimism being shown by certain persons but only hope that old karma isn't lying in wait to equal old scores for some people. "What goes around comes around" and a big number of Saints supporters have a lot of karmatic debt to pay. We get the club and direction we deserve. I like to think we deserve at last a little bit of luck after all that's transpired.
  12. Why should he? Gary Lineker led a consortium that invested in Leicester, also his spiritual home, saving it from bankruptcy, and was appointed honorary vice-president. He's still going from strength to strength on TV.
  13. Unless we score a bucketfull of goals today it wouldn't have made a bit of difference. Barnsley are winning 2-1 at the moment and Forest have a better average than our lousy goal average.
  14. Yeah! All talk and propaganda before he takes off. Rumours in the Star online say Leicester are about to sign him on a FREE TRANSFER!!!!!
  15. I am sad to point out that I believe Lowe has chosen to attend just to be provocative. He is using the Forest ground to allow Saints fans to make an a r s e of themselves. This will in turn give maximum publicity and he'll then claim he was right all along about the lunatic fringe. Maybe it would be better to lie in wait for him on those country roads on the way to Nottingham (as Robin Hood would have so cleverly done) and prevent him physically from appearing. The sooner we are rid of all of our past chairmen and directors the more healthy our future will be.
  16. If Stockport had not had sufficient points and were going to be relegated anyway the points would have been deducted next season. The same applied to Saints and why we have tried desperately to win both our final games so that the points deduction would have applied this season. In Saints situation we would have still been relegated by the deduction this season but free of deductions next season. As I pointed out earlier, Lowe and Wilde were aiming to do as Stockport and let us get enough points to avoid relegation. Didn't work out and they really c o c k e d it up.
  17. Stockport did today what Rupert Lowe and Michael Wilde had been planning from day one after they returned to the club. They gambled that Jan would build a team and get sufficient points like Stockport to avoid getting relegated. That is why they panicked and appointed Wotte still trying to avoid relegation. Sadly, they were caught out and their evil plans didn't succeed. They were left with no alternative than to screw everyone,, got us relegated and declared admiinistration thinking we'd not lose the ten points. If the FL allow either of them even to return, to participate in the sport even again, they're as corrupted and bent as half the top people in football. The game of football stinks because the types like Lowe and Wilde can do what they do and get clean off of their evil deeds.
  18. More interesting comments on our own situation http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/leagues/championship/charlton/5251841/Charlton-Norwich-and-Southampton-have-suffered-heavy-fall-from-grace.html
  19. If you guys had only listened to, and read, Mark Fry's latest statement, he clearly states that the appeal is a Southampton Football Club matter, that he has nothing to do with SFC. That the appeal is being handled by SFC directors and the new owners (if any)

  21. NOTE TO FORUM:ADMINS Would you kindly remove this waste of space thread from being a sticky. Mister Fry has updated us all on the official site and there is nothing confirming what Sky Sport was proclaiming. In fact, this thread only belittles the supporters, their objectives and thinking. It's sheer nonsense and does nothing to enhance the Administrators very difficult taste of selling the club to potential buyers. Thanking you in advance for doing the majority of us a favor. 22. Here is the article Duncan referred http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2009/apr/28/southampton-championship-digger
  23. Sounds like you're failing fast Duncan as you life flashes so speedily before you and analyse past memories. I'm feeling very concerned for your state of mind. The listed persons were employed by Southampton Football Club, which is still in existance. Therefore, any such agreements or conditions will still apply, unless the status of the club changes.
  24. I certainly hope this story is true as we're going to need this Claret's testimony to the F.A. Besides, the tooth could be used by forensics to determine the DNA of the Pompey fan who threw the flare. Check out this breaking story online http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/leagues/championship/southampton/5230608/FA-act-on-Southampton-pitch-invasion.html
