  1. What no one's bothered to mention is that another ex Saint Gary Monk held together Swansea's defence to keep a clean sheet. I guess Dyer must have given him a wink and been able to easily slip between Martin Cranie's crotch to score the opening goal. What an interesting Saturday seeing so many of our loan or ex players on parade and scoring goals.
  2. If we were going to promote from within the obvious choice to me would have been STEWART HENDERSON. He certainly would have had my full support and would have stood a far better chance of getting his former protegés performing that that tosser WOTTE. I'm F U C K I N G DISGUSTED that Lowe hasn't learnt one thing from all his past fiascos. After reading this forum for the past 6 months I'm convinced we must have at least one psycho who'd be crazy enough to carry out a suicide attack and finish Lowe off once and for all time.
  3. Jan will have resigned because he's been told players have got to be sold and he wouldn't be allowed to bring in any new ones. It's absolutely disgusting and you couldn't make it up, or the timing. Titanic is well and truly doomed, split in two with one end going down in one direction and the other end going down in the other. Is there just a slight hope that Wotte wll turn down the Boards offer to take over, that it's all part and parcel of Lowe's saving face and offloading all the Dutch contingent? What is there left to support? I came into the world when Saints were in the lower leagues and looks like that's where they're returning to see me out of this world.
  4. He is no doubt referring to the Ides of March, the starting day of the third week As many on here will know, it is a time in the Calender each year at St Mary's when back stabbing and assassinations loom overpoweringly on the horizon. Caesar has not doubt learned from history and intends to stick in the knife and finish it all off once and for always.

    Meeting Today

Here, here! THoroughtly agree. I have been thinking this myself from the indications coming from this so called crisis meeting. He'll have learnt from past errors on drifting in a void and set up everything ready to move before hand. I have suspicions that Lowe is going to try to retain JP (to save face) on the coaching side whilst taking in someone of the calibre of Glenn Hoddle until the end of the season. With Hoddle's Academy off the ground Glenn would be able to offer his trainees a great practical opportunity to play up against our current squad in training. With the squad as it stands we are failing because our players and reserves are unable to realistically compete in training because all they have are even less experienced Academy players to practice against. I seem to recall in his early days Strachan overcoming this by organising a closed doors game against Charlton duing a two week layoff period.
  6. I so wish you'd give up bumping guys during your lunchtime break. I've not forgotten previous encounters and the lack of end product.
  7. Sadly adriansfc there are still another 17 days of the transfer window to go. Anything can happen and before allowing players to leave it's surely wise to bring in their replacements. Lowe is very smart in this direction knowing full well if we receive some readies from sales it's going to cost us more to bring in players. It ain't over it that window slams shut and even then players could leave on loans.
  8. Harry Redknapp's reported being sick of Gareth Bale and wants to release him saying he'll be a good player some day but he needs real men. If Michael Wilde's got any decency left in him he could do worse than arrange for us to bring Bale back on loan till the end of the season, footing his salary from his own nest egg.
  9. Bet you this guy's making more from porno than he'd ever have done playing football for Rupert Lowe. Will surprise me if his currents earnings don't include fees payable to the club for the special training he received in the Academy dorms. I've said long ago the club could earn big bucks from a Gods of St Mary's Calender every year even when Anders Svensson was dating Anita and Beattie and Prutts took up modeling. If I'm not mistaken(he he!!) he still posts on here as Dannyboy, one of his cover names for his UK porno films. I now know where those 10 players out of contract next June will be heading. "California here we come!!!" Check out his MySpace website you might see yourself amongst his mates. Or else the list of the 24 films he's featured in, with and without the missus. I could swear I saw Norm in one of them!!!??
  10. When our players play at home they are put under unbearable pressure from the supporters. So much so that they freeze up and are so tense they can't perform. This pressure doesn't exist away from home, they don't have put up with the snide comments from disgruntled supporters when a move goes wrong. The away supporters are "all for one and one for all" and this conveys to the players. The Chinese say, many hands make light work, and when people join hands during a seance and concentrate then the table will move, the table rise. So lets being joining hands, being of one voice, and concentrate on the ball going into the back of the net at the right end of the pitch. Willing them and more supporter concentration to score goals and they'll score goals and pick up the points.
  11. No, it just means that Saint_Stevo still considers that it's April Fools Day everyday where his fellow Saints fans are concerned. Tell me one time when one of his disclosures wasn't an April Fool's prank? You're all fools for believing him yet again.
  12. Was unable to post after the game but I have to say yesterday's performance and match left me with one thought going through my head. "WE ARE 1 MILLION LIGHT YEARS AWAY FROM EVER RETURNING TO THE PREMIERSHIP" United hardly broke into a sweat and had they really turned on the heat the score would have been in double figures. Close up shots of Jan showed him sh*t scared and full of fear till United scored. The decision not to award offside seemed to breathe life into him. Maybe because he'd found an excuse for his inaptitude. I question the team selection. This wasn't your usual league practice match, this was the FA CUP against the Champions of the World.
  13. Many thanks for the post. If I am correct France 4 is available online as well on a number of TV software programs. Not sure for those overseas whether it will get blocked for non French IP addresses but worth others having a look.
  14. Brings a tear to one's eye especially when you know that some of the big mouths with big money could have had the man at St Mary's today to watch the game in front of 30,000 adoring fans. Well done to all those who responded to the GiveittoRon campaign and a big thank you to Duncan for posting this gem.
  15. And if the manager and club wanted to hoodwink United into thinking we'll be a pushover what better way than to suddenly spring Saganowski's inclusion in the side at the last minute!
  16. What's to say Saints have decided to take Bennett instead of Pearce. For sure Coppell will want a strong squad to push for promotion but he hasn't shown much affection for Bennett in the past. And who knows we might have offered Bennett a better deal than Brentford.
  17. One of your best ever posts Washsaint and I heartily agree with it all. May the gods bring good fortune upon you and yours in the coming year for having taken the trouble to try and rectify the wrongs of 2008 amongst some Saints supporters. Let's hope that everyone will turn over a new leaf and we come together and make 2009 a year to remember in the club history. United together. Happy New Year Washsaint and many more of them!
  18. Wasn't it Billy Davies that took Matt Oakley to Derby. Wouldn't say Oakley fits the profile of the above robust bully style players!
  19. I'm going with Forest making Roy Keane an offer he can't reject. After all, he did play for them in the past under Brian Clough. Or perhaps Paul Ince is the type of manager they want. All will depend on their financial backers who do seem, like many Midland clubs to appear (unlike ours) when they are required.
  20. I tend to agree with that but perhaps all that Lowe's ego really wants is for us to put on a real show against Manchester United in the hope of grabbing a draw and a replay at Old Trafford (or even a win and another big game). All season all we seem to do is win against the better teams and against all ODDS.

    Saganowski

Well IF Michael Wilde truely loves this club and wants to go some way to putting things right, keeping Saganowski is practically a must for us staying in the Championship. So, like Crouch last season, I think he OWES everyone by paying up Saganowski's wages. It would help towards us scoring goals, staying up and for him, Lowe and Crouch standing a chance of getting their investment back.

    Hopelessness

You know what your trouble is Jan?..........You're hanging out with the wrong people. You deserve better and it's long overdue that you find new friends, other supporters to hang out with. It's not right that you of all people are coming on here in such a distress, especially when so many of your Birdseye fans look up to you for encouragement and inspiration. Merry Christmas Jan! May it be a good one and may 2009 bring you back to your old self.
  23. Indeed and in any normal circumstances his actions would lead to a prison sentence and a life ban at future games. However, we happen to have a Club, Chairman and Board, who, contary to all that gets written, shows immense tolerance and understanding in the face of adversity and absurdity. PS Were they chocolate pieces of silver that were thrown? If so I imagine the heat of the atmosphere would have melted them long before they reached their intended target!
  24. From a very early age he mastered certain skills with his hands and quickly went on to become a high performance W A N K E R. The fact that he is unable to appear tomorrow and the reasons he gave give you a clue where his money came from and why he's unable to be at the AGM. Family to most is a wife and kids, to the likes of those doing business in Asia, Family has a complete alternative meaning.
  25. Maybe on Saturday with such an abismal performance, Jan and the players were trying to put their views across prior to the AGM. Certainly is beginning to look that way.
