Went full-Boufal once today and just about got away with it.

Yoshida continues to improve, and maybe Forster compared to last season - I'm still not convinced he didn't have an injury of some sort. That's about it though. Hoping Gabbi and Boufal will be given more time on the pitch.

Mostly good, seemed to have the measure of Crouch in the air which was important if you remember the last season's home game (sh*t game, Crouch header wins it in injury time, I get sunburned sat in block 4). Did give the pen away which I'd put down to a bit of ring rustiness. Looks effective coming forward, hopefully Pellegrino will encourage this.

Every time the ball went up to Redmond / Long in the first half it was one-touched directly back to where it came. Neither seem capable of turning with the ball. Thing is, players were making good runs but weren't being used, too ponderous. Can understand why Bertrand looks ****ed off.

I think he's starting with the wrong team. It's frustrating to see Gabbi on the bench when the main reason he wasn't scoring was lack of supply. Get Redmond and Long off and Boufal and Gabbi on.

I remember the days when Crouch played for us, hated the style of lumping it towards his head every time we got the ball near the box. Could probably do with someone like that now.

Starting to agree that he's not doing enough. Seems to be unable to attack the box these days, rarely makes good runs into space, frustrates his teammates, can't shoot or cross. I would like to give Targett a run on the left, give that a try.

Was bound to happen, some people needed to get it off their chests. Hopefully that's it for now, well until January at least.

As I understand it, 24 weeks is so that it gives the medical profession time to rule out serious birth abnormalities and give the parents the choice of whether to continue. So in that sense it isn't arbitrary and I imagine, in the future, if medicine was able to identify these abnormalities sooner there would be a case for bringing the amount of weeks forward which I'm sure everyone would approve of. Apparently the percentage of pregnancies aborted even near that time is very, very low.

Impeccable manners, and I'm happy with him voicing his opinion on abortion, even though I disagree with it (I agree with the current law - pro-choice up to 24 weeks). I wouldn't vote for him anyway because his background in high society and business involvement with large multinational companies (oil, tobacco, mining) make him the epitome of what it is to be Tory and not the sort of bloke set up to represent the masses.
