No need to be worried, we can only play the teams in front of us. Seven games in, I think we can talk about "form" and we are in excellent form !

It was strange to leave a game where we had lost 3-2 but feeling like we had won. As other posters have said we were as dominant in the second half as they were in the first half. It was a very exciting 2H as a Saints fan. Some very disappointing interplay from Saints in the final third of the pitch - in both halfs. Not saying Rickie had a bad game but saw several passes from him that were easily picked off by Leicester. We seemed to want to pass the ball into the net, always taking far too many touches and always looking for another pass rather than shooting. Their second goal was a beauty - scored by a shot from just outside of the penalty area, how I wished Saints had tried that option to vary their play. First half we were continuously done for pace - if it wasn't for Kelvin we could have gone in at half time 4-1 down. As they used pace against us in the first half we didn't have anyone who could do it against them. Again not wanting to say Rickie or Connolly had a bad game but our attack cried out for someone to run at their defence. Friendly crowd before the game - chatting to them on the train up and in the pub.

Whatever the result let's have a great day out and show the team appreciation for what they've achieved and for the fact that at 15.00 they are the team top of the league! In all my years supporting Saints we haven't been top of any league very often, so enjoy it !

But don't forget he's got Mandaric looking over his shoulder, interfering - that's enough to make anyone nervous and tend to make mistakes trying to plesae the "boss"

If squad numbers mean anything, Bilbao played both games with their first squad. I think they came with the intention to win and not make experiments with their set-up. Whereas Bremen changed their squad around after their first game.

It was perfectly acceptable, except for the price - £3.50. However, even that looks acceptable compared to price of the bottle of Magners I bought - also £3.50!

Because it took that long to queue for a beer !

I thought the new away kit looked good yesterday. I wasn't that keen on the new hime kit but when i saw it up close yesterday it looked much better than in the photograph.

You tube stuff looks very impressive - and if he can send in crosses for 90 mins like some of those on the video clips then he could tunr out to be a great signing.

I may be a lone voice, but I loved the sash and would have prefered to keep it instead of going back to the red & white stripes.
