I was worried before the game as Leeds had plenty of opportunity to be ready for us (after Warsaw and Huddersfield) and would arrive with a plan to get a result. However, they were never really a threat in front of goal - even in the second half when they had much more possession, they never created a real threat. I thought Puncheon had a great game - but my eye was also on Fonte who was excellent, Spideman who very creative in mid-field and Dan H who has been immense this season. Our frontline caused them problems and Barnard was all running all over the place. The played 3 forwards in 2nd half and were obviously confident that they could nick something having only conceded 1 goal in the first half. Despite having much more dominance in midfield they couldn't break us down. As others have said ref was poor but this worked toour benefit as Hammond could easily received a second yellow with enough time for Leeds to take advantage. Reflecting back over the game - this was an easy win !

Yesterday I would have bitten your hand off for a new stadium on the out-skirts! Getting into Southampton yesterday was a nightmare - huge traffic queues at junctions 8 and 9 - I thought we'd never get to SMS in time despite leaving early.

Anyone who doesn't have a ticket... tough sh!t... you didn't try hard enough. Thanks for the sympathy...........

I totally agree that ST hollders get priority. I also agree that those who attended the area finals get second priority. Not sure I agree that ST holders should get 2 tickets each.

True - but I feel its a bit unfair that 40,000 tickets have been sold to ST holders and those who attended the two finals - was that 1 ticket per person ???? The rest of us had 1 day to fight over 4,000 tickets.

I tried the Carlisle web-site earleir but they stopped selling on-line & over the phone as soon as we sold out, they will only sell to fans who turn up at their box office.

Thanks - I might splash out. But disappointed that Saints have sold 44,000 tickets and folks like myself who go to 8-9 games a season didn't get a look in.

I spent 3 hours trying to ring through this morning, eventually drove to the ticket office to find that everything has been sold. If anyone knows where I can get two tickets please PM me! Update - I now have tickets - bought from Tickets4football - thanks to Dune for pointing the way

If we've already sold around 40,000, how many of us are chasing the remaining 4,000?? I hope not many as I haven't got my tickets yet!

If that's the only way to get tickets then I'll do it - but who are all these 37,000 fans who now have tickets?? Everytime I go to SMS there's only 19,000+ there (as i don't live in Southampton i'm not a seaon ticket holder nor did I make it to either of the area finals - so I'm hoping there's enough tickets left for next phase when I can buy them).

I'm not a ST holder nor did I attend the area finals, so I'm hoping there'll be some tickets left next week when they open up the booking to registered purchasers. Mind you I haven't seen Saints win yet this season so maybe they shouldn't let me near this game !

No - AP said that he had to build a "winning" mentality, so progress in the FA Cup and getting to the paintpot final has (IMO) helped him to change the mentality within the club.
