I am not sure success on the field on the field is as important as financial success so I think they will cash in For success a club needs a huge fanbase and that fanbase spending money to pay massive wages SFC just dont have it so will never able to perform at the really top levellevel

I have been following the Saints about the same time as you in fact Derek Reeves, Terry Paine and John Sydenham all played in the first game I saw I dont really follow any other team but look out for Reading which is only a few miles from where I live and Brentford where I used to work. I also look out for the results of friends teams Bolton Ipswich Fulham QPR Man City and Man U

If we lose top class players it is very unlikely that we will replace them with similar quality ones but surely if we had Wanyama Claise Mane Bertrand playing last night we would have done better We also seem to have identified a CB who for a pretty good reason has not signed for us at the moment. The four players we have have signed surely have to be given time to see how they develop and get used to SFC
