Come on Stoke keep the Spurs out

I dont think the wheels will come off I just dont think everything will always go right and we will win all our games but from about ten years ago for five years I was quite despondent so it is quite nice to have had five years of relative success

Yes I know he did OK on the Pitch but SFC is a PL club which never had any financial clout but with Markhus and Administration we did so it was pretty easy to return to the PL and most CEOs would have got us there. With regards to results you are of course correct but Ted Bates is still to me our greatest manager got us from Division 3 to play in Europe brought in Lawrie Mac and laid foundations for our successes of the 1970s and 1980s

Watching Final Score and Steve Claridge made a good point that we are playing better than Liverpool Everton and Tottenham so why should we not finish in the top six

Excellent season apart from the Royal London Cup difficult for me to come up with a player of the season with so many to chose from but I think I am going for Sean Ervine for his two recent centuries and his general all round ability but equally I could have gone for Jimmy Adams Will Smith James Vince Kyle Abbott or James Tomlinson. Of course you can predict after five games but it will not be so accurate as after twenty games or after thirty games All I know is that our results against Liverpool West Ham WBA Newcastle are not as good as they were last season so there is a possibility that we may not do as well as last year but after ten games we will have a clearer picture I have no idea where we will finish but the usual suspects will probably finish in the top 7 and we will be 8 to 13 What about you

I think what he is saying makes sense if we sell five players next season it is unlikely that we will get in good replacements Just say no to tranfer requests something most posters were saying in the Summer although we are second we have not beaten a team which has recently played in the CL
