Off to Moscow apparently http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/southampton-flop-emmanuel-mayuka-set-6144170?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter

Overall I think Mark Wright was the best he was a really good footballer John McGrath however was my favorite but the best performance I ever saw was Mel Blyth at Wembley in 1976 he was immense in such an important game
-
Why would we want to by him?
-
Surely if Lowe decided to recruit Morgan all those years ago because of his potential he should be congratulated not sure about Tommy Forecast though I did see him play
-
I think CB Fry is right there was no chance of SFC going out of business
-
What is the point in ever blaming anybody
-
I think you are right but Administration was the making of SFC
-
With the Europe games I doubt we will as high as last year as most of the other clubs seem to be getting stronger I would say about 10th to 12th
-
What is the difference between rested and dropped Surely he was dropped as he has been awful this season
-
Elvis Reifer was one I remember but what I really meant was developing bowlers and bringing them into the first team as it is not easy these days as you say with year round cricket We have had Tremlett and Udal but not many more since Bob Cottom when I was at school in the 1960s we even had John Rice Trevor Jesty and Tim Tremlett opening the bowling in 1970/80 era. Not sure Cardigan Connor counts
-
Although the batters seem out of form the main problem is that Hampshire have failed to produce many really good quality bowlers over the last 50 years and it is bowlers that win matches.
-
Maybe not as Bastian Schweinsteiger close to Manchester United move

Just met a Spurs Fan very nice chap very complimentary about the Saints Spurs are a big club like Liverpool with a long history had a great deal of success in the 1960s were the first English Club to win a European Trophy but not much recently League Football League First Division: Winners (2): 1950–51, 1960–61 FA Cup: Winners (: 1900–01, 1920–21, 1960–61, 1961–62, 1966–67, 1980–81, 1981–82, 1990–91 League Cup: Winners (4): 1970–71, 1972–73, 1998–99, 2007–08 European UEFA Cup: Winners (2): 1971–72 (inaugural winners), 1983–84 UEFA Cup Winners' Cup: Winners (1): 1962–63 Saints won the FA Cup in 1976 finished second once in Div 1 and having got to 3rd in the PL but finished 7th the best finish for over 30 years some deluded people think we are a top club well we are not
-
When are starting supporting the Saints over 50 years ago in Div 3 I never thought they would be one of the top ten clubs in the country So I am very happy With so much money in the PL and high player wages we will never compete regularly with the top City Clubs
-
Yes a dodgy pitch when we bat but not now Worcs 365/6 (111.5 ov)
-
We are not on the rise we had two good seasons with good players who want to move for more money and more chance of Silverware
-
I think you are quite right Spurs will probably offering more money. Although he was great for us he did have injury problems so I will not be too upset if he goes to Spurs
-
David Burnside FA Cup 1963 v Nottm Forest to level the score at 3 3 after being 3 0 down with 15 mins to go The replay at White Hart Lane when we won 5 0 probably the best game I ever saw the atmosphere was tremendous with 30000 plus Saints Supporters there Then of course there was Terry Paines goal at Leyton O to get us to Div 1 and Bobby Stokes' one in 1976
-
Probably not but he was when they won the Champions League
-
It cant be easy going from T20 to four day cricket Middx are rubbish at T20 but have decent 4 day bowlers which we dont. I am really going to enjoy myself at Lords tomorrow have not seen them there for ages
-
Of course you are right but since the 1960s when the maximum wage was abandoned large city Clubs have had an unfair advantage and with the PL and CL this unfortunately is going to continue
